Trog, I have the pen usb ecig from bestecig. It works fine on my home pc but nowhere else. I just tried a stand alone battery powered usb port but used regular household batteries and it still didn't work (but does work on my pc). As I mentioned before, the led just isn't lighting except about 1/4 of the way so I can't get the power. It was suggested I get rechargeable, at least 2400 mah bats for that thing. So what are you saying? Something less should work? It does seem I need a lot of power. I do welcome any advice on this because I am totally clueless ![]() Thanks! Lu |

I think the point being made is - if you are going to buy rechargeable AA batteries then you might as well buy some decent ones. 2400mAh is a good starting point to aim for. I have been successfully using some really cheap (3 for a pound) NiCad batteries but I have recently bought some 2500mAh NiMh batteries. The major difference is that the 2500mAh batteries will last longer between charges and that is really what we are all aiming for.

I suggested you go for 2400 mah or greater, simply because they will give you a longer runtime. With an external pack you will have to recharge the batteries sometime. Now these batteries are very, very common, I can't understand why you can't find them. Sure you could go for lesser batteries, but they won't be much cheaper and you'll have to charge them more often, so I don't see the point.

It's funny that I looked around at some local stores online and nothing really caught my eye. But I went to Walmart for something else tonight and thought I'd check out the chargers. I did find a pretty good lookin' one and some 2450 mah batts. I was waiting for my usb cigar to actually buy them so I'll probably get it Wed. I think I'm putting it off because I'm afraid if it DOESN'T work (as the other things haven't)....I will be stuck only being able to use these at my laptop. Bummer! ![]() Well, once again, my fingers are crossed! I'll let y'all know. Lu |

LK, you are impersonating someone else intentionally. Is this not against the rules?
