Question wierd battery

I have a battery it is well used and it has developed a weired action. It only works when attached to a good atomizer and it will not turn it's self off. When attached to a bad atomizer it will not do anything and with I blow or suck on it , it will not lite up. It gets a good atomizer real hot If I leave it attached.
How does it know the atomizer is good or not?

Sounds like some e-liquid in the battery from topping off. Try taking a paper clip undone and sticking it up the battery hole and wiggling it around. This has worked for me on more then one occassion.

I cleaned it with a pipe cleaner. i use a pipe cleaner to clean all my batterys and get the juice out of them. thats why the battery is well used. It is probably 3 or 4 months old.

I hope someone can tell me how it knows a good atomizer from a bad one.

You may be having a connection problem as we did with the passthoughs. The battery is not making contact with some atomizers and is with others because each time you on switch off a battery, the conection to the atomizer sinks down a little with the constant tighting down of the batteries. Try it on a new atomizer or better yet try a piece of foil in the battery hole to see if in fact if it is a connection problem. Otherwise the pressure switch is failing and is past its life expectency--let us know

thanks Sun vaporer for your replys. I guess I am not making clear what I want to know.

When I attach a dead atomizer to the battery it will not work at all even taking out the cart and puffing on it will not make it work.
When I attach a good atomizer it will light up on it's on and burn it up if I don't take it off.
I just wondered why it was acting lke this and found it weired that it appeared to know the differance between a dead and a good atomizer.

Default Does it light up when you suck on it?

Does the battery light up when you suck on it with the atomizer off? It sounds like the batteries pressure switch is stuck in the on position weather or not the led is or is not lighting up. So it really does not know if it is a good atomizer or a bad one--it is sending the current and the bad one obviously will not heat as opposed to the good atomizer that will heat. Does that make sense??

Sounds to me the driver-transistor or charging diode burned to crisps and is making a short circuit inside the battery. I'm afraid this one is for the bin (or recycled in a homemade project). The difference between good and bad atomizers is probably the difference in resistance.

Yeh, try sucking it with no atomizer and see what happens.

With the dead atomizer, no suck is getting to the battery, so it's doing nothing. With a good atomizer, the suck is normal....but the LED gets stuck on. If you try it without an atomizer, you may very well get the same reaction as with the good atomizer as the batt is actually getting the suck. Get it? LOL

Wow...this could start to sound pornographic!

I have blowen into the battery and puffed on it without a atomizer and the light does not come on. the only time it works is when I attach a working atomizer to the battery an then it works by it's self. I will not be using the battery as it will burn up my atomizers. I just was wondering if anyone had any idea why that was the only time it worked. It just too weird.

The light comes on as soon as I attach the good atomizer.
