Im using a Noma Pocket Power Charger with my USB Passthrought and it work great. 3200mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery.. I used it in a survival trip to recharge my 510 PCC via USB cable to mini-usb, and directly Vape with a passthrought at night near the Camp Fire, those power pack are awesome! What I really want to do is ditch the usb passthrought, open the Pocket Power Charger casing, remove the female USB part and solder an atomizer socket directly for my 510 atomizers. You will be able to help me about the power output of all the device I have reed in this thread.. what power pack so far seem to you, to have the best power output (if its directly solder/going to the atomizer socket) ?? I imagine that the sweet spot for power output should be higher tha 3.n volt and no more than 6 volts (atomizer killer) |

Why not take your passthrough apart, remove the innards, and solder them in place of the usb plug? Then you should be able to use any of the battery packs mentioned that work with a passthrough, because all you did was eliminate the male and female usp plugs from between the battery and socket. Then you could attach the socket directly into the battery pack like you were wanting to do.

Just wanted to say that I bought the batteryholder pack mentioned on the previous page due to his post and have been super happy with it. Paid less than 4.00 and bought the rechargeable AA batteries from him also. Got 3 sets of AA batteries, the charger and the usb battery pack for less than 30.00. I have been nothing but pleased with it. I did have a glitch when I first got it because the batteries have to be tight, but the seller suggested I put foam in the case to tigthen. HOWEVER, I simply pressed them in more firmly and have had no problems now for 2 months using this many hours a day. It lasts more than 3 days of fairly heavy use. I keep a second set of batteries charged so I am never down. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT... I can't imagine paying 90.00 for something you can buy for less than 4.00. |

If you're talking about the Duracell PPS2, it doesn't work for passthrough usage. I bought one for it myself, and no go with my 401. The light goes on on the ecig, but it doesn't give enough power to produce vapor.

I use the Kensington Portable Power Pack..... It powers at 5 volts...... Charges fom USB and Wall AC and car lighter..... Has worked great for me..... I think I payed roughly 25 but could be wrong...... Bought at Best Buy but is sold in many stores...... Can be used for Cell Phones, IPods, Disk Players and many other small electronic devices..... When on the go, I use my 510, with Pass Through connected to my Kensington...... Great power and no worry about new batteries...... It is small, light and easily carried in my shirt pocket...... The only problem I have with it is, everyone wants to know what that wire is coming from my shirt pocket....... Easy price to pay....... |
