Maintenance on a 510
Just got my new 510 (usually use mini's). What is the recommended maintenance for it? Do I care for it the same as my mini's, or is there something special I need to do for a 510 atomizer? Thanks alot for your help

First and foremost, keep it moist. Beyond that people talk about soaking in pure pg, strong vodka, everclear (or pure grain alcohol) to help reduce/remove buildup. I've been lucky so far to have my atty last me more than 2 weeks of fairly rigorous vaping, but I haven't started using any VG mixes yet so we'll see what happens when my next order from Tasty Vapor shows up

Perhaps I've just been lucky, biut I've had my 510 since the 1st week in Jan and have not done a thing to it, other than keeping the cart filled up. I've not had a problem with it. Now I did have a Smoking Everywhere atomizer go out in the 1st week, but my 510 has been problem free..

I've actually had more problems from cleaning my atomizers than I have without it. What I thought was burnt flavor that required cleaning I now believe to be my noob tendency to keep too dry an atty. Bad flavor=needs more juice.
I bought a 5-pack of atties from myPVshop in early January, and I've used three of them. One of them developed an "off" flavor, and I've just set it aside for a while. That's the best thing that I've learned: have extra atties on hand so you can let the old, offending atties sit a while. Usually when I pick them up again, they taste fine. Vapor production, of course, will never be like new, but that's to be expected.
In short, do what's comfortable for you. Chances are, if you clean your non-510 atties, you'll prefer cleaning your 510s.
Nothing to see here

I notice when the taste gets a bit off, in my 510, I still get good vapor. Not wanting to ruin the atty, I put in more drops, but can only put in 2 before it starts pooling at the top???
What gives? I dont understand it....

I just got 510, never tried yet, how often i need to clean automizer? and which battery is good , manual or auto
"Full control, when used with the included manual batterry and a great performer with the included automatic battery as well".

Hi ivaz - the manual/auto is really a matter of preference, though I think the majority of experienced vapers prefer manual (I do too). It means no primer puff, more control like you mentioned, and doesn't activate due to wind or sound. Downside is it's a little bit less like an analog but doesn't bother me at all.
How often to clean your atty - depends on what you vape and how often, and a bit of luck probably too - not all atty's are made the same. I clean the threads on the battery and the atomizer pretty regularly and blow out my atty's if they get flooded. Clean them more thoroughly about once a week but not sure if it's necessary to do so often. Plenty of thoughts on this, just do a quickie search on the forum
