I don't think that the screwdriver is over priced for the same reason you mentioned.'
But I do think that you and Leaford ( both of you are the "officials testers" of the forum
) should get one to demo it for all of us...

Trog you should send one to dusty so he can model it for us. I am pretty sure if we like what we see we'll buy it, even if is expensive, well at least I will. I'll do whetever to keep me off real cigarettes. Thanks. We need to see a video

Just a quick amusing thing i noticed. I'm not going to say it isn't worth the price cause it looks beautiful and hand crafted, but trog... You realize that you now have one of the most expensive pieces on the market? i just get a little chuckle out of that.

i know dusty it is amusing.. i get a reputation for buying cheap and chucking then end up selling a very expensive product.. i see the irony... he he he
but it is about value.. i would have been happy to buy expensive if buying expensive would get me what i want.. we know people think in chinese values.. so the screwdriver has to be something special..
we see it as a lifeline for real addicts.. its being offered with forum support as a long haul thing.. advice where to get cheap consumables and all thats needed..
the high purchase price will soon come back in lower running costs..
but i can see u chuckling.. i also think u know exactly where we are comng from as well.. i expect u to buy one.. he he

Trog, did you make this screwdriver yourself? It's a masterpiece!

This has no disrespect intended for Leaford or rat as I do feel these guys do a lot and I respect them for what they do. But I do think people on this forum should not expect trog to give out free or hint of giving samples of his work.
As a company owner myself we get requests every day regarding customers wanting free samples of this and that and the other and because this would take time and money it becomes impossible and if we had to do this we would probably not still be in business.
Certain items yes can be sampled freely. But certainly not products that are custom or made to order plus we're not talking sending out a 901 which some suppliers can afford to lose the odd one as they will gain sales from a good review. So I hope people will respect trog with some sort of courtesy and respect in whether or not he can or can't afford to send these out as free samples.
I have mentioned on a few occasions it would be a good idea to set up some sort of donation box for our reviewers to use for reviews and demonstration purposes. As I feel there is enough of us on here to donate their odd dollar or two contributing for this as we should not expect people like Leaford and rat to keep spending their hard earned cash to entertain us and neither should other reviewers expect to receive free bees and to be treated like there some sort of royalty.
If there is a problem with the price of an item and it is not affordable because we are all not made of money. Why not a few people put their money together and buy the item and distributed out between all of you making this more possible because of funds. I am sure that there are enough people that would be willing enough to do this to make this happen for people that wish to see certain items being demonstrated and are not in a position to buy the goods there self or either don't agree the item is worth the price and cannot justify this.
some of us on this forum have spent thousands of dollars individually on testing out and posting a review of our opinions of a lot of these products and I personally have not done it to entertain other people or to encourage them to buy the products .I have done it because I am enjoying this technology at present and don't expect any praise or recognition for what I have done. But what does upsets me is when I think product is worth its waiting and somebody comes along and still wants to see a video to see how much vapour it produces and I find this hilarious as I have probably explained the vapour being great and they obviously don't believe a word of what I have been saying in the first place.
And I would like to personally thank kit for a excellent detailed review of the screwdriver and hope this will confirm more to people that trogs screwdriver is worth paying the extra for in the long run.

I've been thinking about this a lot, and I think I figured out what it's missing.
Basically, you've got a big battery. Oh, and a push buton. Don't get me wong, I like a big battery. And I like push buttons. Love em in fact. I am interested in and like the big battery and the button.
But with all that, it's still just a 901 atomizer, and a 901 cartridge. It needs an atomizer and cartridge like the e-pipe. But that's not off the shelf and user exchangeable.
But if Naz is right, a LoongTotem atomizer puts out pipe-level vapor and cartridges last all day without refilling. It would keep the off-the-shelf convenience of the 901 atomizer. Plus, it's slim, so it won't ruin the lines, eh, Trog? You get the vapor level and cartridge lifespan to match the battery.
Now, THAT might be worth 100GBP to me. Might.

we disagree about relative performance often.. i rate the 901 atomizer higher up the performance league than u do..
mind u i throw mine away quite quickly.. the instructions with the screwdriver say two weeks max atomizer life for a heavy user.. with a good atomizer and good batteries we rate the screwdriver close to the pipe as regards vapour production.. the pipe can produce good result but they are not consistent results.. we have tried a few more than u have.. the results can be very poor..
and i wont know what a loong totem type atomizer puts out to till i get my hands on a few.. the idea of fitting the new atomizer/cart to the screwdriver is there.. if anything new comes along and its reasonably priced the option is open to change it..
a return to base plus small a charge will be made to swap to other type atomizers..
basically we like the 901 atomizer a little more than u do.. so do many others.. we also have to use whats available.. a cheap replacement atomizer to go with the pipe would make it a superb device apart from the sherlock holmes factor.. he he
