Another Chuck Review

I, too, pestered Jeff with e-mails that went unanswered...I then learned he is not a large vendor that I'm used to questioning, he makes these in his "spare" time!

We just get so excited to get these things after reading all the great ECF reviews...I can't imagine his frustration at all the newbie questions! I made my payment, (hope that he got it), ordered batteries/charger, now have to sit back and wait ...we have to leave him alone so he can make those Chucks!

i ordered mine 11/1 got confirmation from amizon.com payment had been sent to him. i sent email with order specks to him. been 24hr's and not a confrimation from him that he has recieved payment or order speck info. nada nothing not even a thanks for the order. he must be out of town!! there must be a reason.! this is not to say he not a good guy by any means i'm sure he is,as he has satisfied alot of cusomers. thanks for letting me vent.....ya'll know how it goes

Relax. If you paid and sent an e-mail, he got your order. We're working him pretty much to death, so if you don't hear anything from him, that means there is not a problem. He'd let you know if there were any issues.

Now go down to the Supplier forum and check out the thread "How to Spend a Saturday", and you can keep tabs on where he is at in the production of the Chucks.

Yep, he's there, he answered a question for me on the thread. It let me know that he had gotten my order. I hadn't received a confirmation either, but by reading through the thread I got the impression that no one did, so don't worry, just wait for your order date to come up.

About two weeks for each of my Chucks. Well worth the wait; I put in an order for a customized Chuck without expecting too much, and he turned it out better than I hoped. Bottom line, it's affordable, durable, personalized, and works really well. Sweat out the wait time, it's worth it

And no, I'm not a super Chuck fanboy, as I'll be buying other mods hopefully soon - but I firmly believe it stands right up there in the upper echelon of battery mods.

I ordered my chuck on the 17th; it'll be born today. Been pretty busy for Jeff lately, and I can see why- he's pretty much cleared his backlog and usually runs about 2 weeks from order to reality.

I bought 6 batts (huge 18650's) protected top shelf and the most recommended, versatile charger from dealextreme.com- woulda been cheaper if I had gone for cheaper batts or charger, and it was about 50 or so bux shipped. (batts were like 2 for 10 bux, they do have batts 2 for 7 bux- charger was about 12.50 so 3-2pak batts were 30 _ charger 12.5= 42.5 and instead of the 2-3 week free ship i ponied up for the 6 day EMS shipping.

Cheeeeeep compared to those damb 510 batteries at 180 maH that set you back 20 each and last like an hour of solid vapin. Gimme a 2600-3000 maH batt every time

Thanks for the review ! I ordered my Lil Chuck today....and i also ordered the Copper....expecting huge clouds from both !

Love reading all the reviews...they really helped me with my decisions on buying the two that i bought.
