crashtestjeep helped me on this one. The BE112 atty and the 801 are interchangable. crashtestjeep obtained an adapter to use the 510 atty from altsmoke.com. Check out a pic of that Here.

Keep us informed about its longevity, and any other issues you find with it.

So far I haven't any issues. The lack of any kind of LED or indicator to let you know the battery needs charged required you to make sure you have another battery on hand already charged up. The battery that comes with the unit works and doesn't seem to drop off in vapor output. I've used the thing all day long with consistant performance. After 10 or 12 hours if the battery dies, it just falls down. You'll get a good vapor output one second and then nothing, at least my experience.

With another battery on hand it's really not an issue for me.

I was polishing my wedding ring this evening with some Flitz metal polish and while watching tv I used on the SP2 for about 5 minutes and the thing almost like a different piece. I don't have a pic but it polished up pretty nice. lol

what type of voltage is this thing? I assume it use 1 of those cr123a 3.7v bats right?

Geeezz- "that thing looks like x, or that thing looks like y" give me a break. Ummm how many different ways do you think a bat holder for cylinder batteries looks like?

why don't you cry a little but more

It's not really the point that it looks the same. The point people are trying to make is that someone spent a long long time trying to figure out a way to make this thing work the best it can and then after a lot of research and design put a product on the market that is extremely well made at a great price.

Then someone comes along with a load of money and copy's the internal mechanisms of it and all of it's design. There is much more to it then a tube, spring, and button. They have a lot of money so they constantly have a banner, they have a cheap inferior product that is dangerous, and they can pump them out cheap. I don't understand why people must defend them and not the small guy that for about the same price has something that he put his heart into, but I don't want to threadjack either. I just want people to know there's more to this then at first glance. Also, im not affiliated with either party, im just giving my observations.

With the DSE 905, the Chinese have entered the fray, so all this will eventually be moot... the domestic manufacturers who've established a solid reputation will be the only ones left standing... those who haven't... bye...

It's already on these boards... looks pretty much identical to the Screwdriver, which IIRC is basically a refashioned Chinese flashlight anyway... and considering the Chinese are the only manufacturers of atomizers and produce 99.99827872% of e-liquid, I think they'll be fine...

Oh, and it's selling for $45... so I'd like to reiterate, bye...

They probably decided not to do one if the review couldn't be a review on the product in hand without turning into some kind of crusade on whom makes a better aluminum tube with threads on each end and a button.
