    Your review was very helpful in my quest to buy something above and beyond the pre-packaged offerings out there. I just received my BB today and am just as impressed with it as I was hoping to be. Thank you again for taking the time to write this up.

    Just wanted to post a follow up...

    It's been almost two months since I received my BB. Still going strong, performing flawlessly.

    I've managed to drop it about half a dozen times (doh!) and besides a few chips and some minor scratching of the surface; It's unfazed... Great little mod.

    Default Batteries

    so the batteries for the bb are "unprotected" at 6 volts? isnt that dangerous? I have the big brother version, the SB at 3.7 volts with the Low Resistance atty, and that duplicated the 5v. can you get protected batteries for the bb?

    The bb's are now being produced with a longer bottom that allows usage with protected 6v Although, it is still not recommended to stack batteries and never use unprotected batteries.

    Will this be as big as the SB.... If there will be a longer bottom on it for protected 6v?

    Nope. It's just over 1/8" longer than the original bb bottom
