Glad to see McCain in the Senate, where he can do the most good....

I haven't had any replies to any of my messages to any legislators regarding this bill. Which is extremely unusual.

So now I'm wondering, if they do ban it, will there be a decent black market that we can tap? I know at least one company is beginning manufacture here in the USA.

If there is, it's likely that it wouldn't be posted here. I guarantee that someone in the government is keeping an eye on these forums for just that kind of activity.

However, it can be suggested that once a homemade ecig is perfected and the parts/building details are posted BEFORE any bans happen...

It's a race against the machine of bureaucracy.

They'd be kinda stoopid not to, since I've sent them the link to these forums. Maybe a new, more secret forum would need to be created? But then how do you vet people?

I am all thumbs when it comes to building anything. Half the tech talk here flies right over my head. I'd be willing to pay someone to put it together for me.

It'd have to be word-of-mouth and/or texting phone to phone.
They would use all of the muscle and resources they have. Government doesn't like anything that might be a risk to their tax revenue.

There was a time once when we went to war over another leafy plant substance being taxed to death.....

I wonder how we'd start such a network. 'Cause darned if I know anybody's cell # here!

Starting to get worried, though... These senators couldn't care less about us. How I wish we could persuade one of them to add a "toxic" amendment like I saw previously, "funding for the perverted arts" or something. Then NOBODY would vote for this bill! LOL

The best idea I have would be to make a batch of commercials showing kids asking Washington to not force their moms and dads to smoke tobacco just so government can get their hands on their precious tax revenue.

I love that idea...reminds me of that pitiful lost child in an airport or where ever he was abandoned.

Or how about a website or a commercial making people aware that The American Lung Association, the American Cancer Society, The American Heart Association and the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids have all called for a harm reduction product to be removed from the market and suggesting that anyone who is REALLY concerned with smoking should carefully consider where they choose to donate.

Just continue to buy your e-liquid and supplies in very small quantities from china and how they label their declarations, and should be able to get through customs, though still be a small risk of getting it seized.

but lets hope it does not happen
