I think a great way to market these would be to tout the lack of second hand smoke. One of the primary reasons cigarettes have been vilified is the fact that they're invasive. Non smokers and former smokers don't want to be around the thick, foul smelling smoke. But PVs don't produce bad odors. They're basically non invasive. They're the polite alternative to smoking.

Coming from a marketing background myself, I think you could take that idea and really run with it. The possibilities for a campaign based on "the polite alternative to smoking" are practically endless.

I think the no-second-hand is a good way to go, but don't you think that one would have to be careful of showing the setting? There is already some trouble with the "use it anywhere smoking isn't allowed!!" approach, so I would think that that would want to be avoided.

Yes, setting would be important. The idea wouldn't be to give the impression that it gets around bans (though that could be strongly implied.) Think, for example, about people with children who go outside their own homes to smoke. Just one potential avenue to explore.

How do you know they are sluts, and what exactly constitutes slut?
