Default If you believe they hype......

If you listen lately, there's been a lot of negative press about a new product tha has been around for several years. People are using it in places that smoking is banned, and before this wave of press, were getting congratulated for their move to this product.

What is this product, you might ask?

It's the electronic cigarette.

If you believe all the hype about what is bad for you in these things, then don't use them at all. However, here's a list of the major ingredients, and other products containing these "dangerous" substances.

Propylene Glycol-
This is found in more than you can imagine.
Cake mixes, salad dressings, soft drinks, popcorn, food colorings, fat-free ice cream, sno cones, sour cream, Lotions, creams, some baby wipes, shampoos, antiperspirants, cosmetics, lipstick, lubricant, hand sanitizers, Room deodorizers, cleaners, sanitizers, tobacco, injected medication, inhaled medication, oral medication, fog machines, smoke simulators for firefighter training, brake fluid, and yes, new "non-toxic" and "safe" automotive antifreeze.

It's in much of what we eat, drink, put on our skin, and use in our lives. It's been well researched, and deemed safe, with over 70 years in existance.

Vegetable Glycerin-
It's also in many products.

Cordite (propellant), smokeless gunpowder, dynamite, nitroglycerin, gelignite, cough syrup, toothpaste, mouthwash, skin care products, shaving cream, hair care products, soaps, personal lubricants, candy, fudge, baked products, paper, ink, injected medicines, oral medicines, inhaled medicines, textiles, and electronics.

Flavorings-

Do we really need a listing on this? Common sense says anything drank, ate, and even smelled will have flavorings, as well as these flavorings added to a myriad of unsafe products to make them taste bad.

Nicotine-
It's found in or on:
Many vegetables as an insecticide, tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant, some medications besides NRTs (scopalamine, extracted from nightshade family plants contains small amounts of nicotine in it's makeup, and is also being researched for theraputic values outside nicotine dependance)

So, Let's see the diet and life if they avoid all these products.

They're unable to wash up in the shower, as all their soaps, shampoos, and conditioners contain either Propylene Glycol or Glycerin. They arrive to the sink and scrub their teeth with a bare brush because they can't use toothpaste or mouthwash. They are unable to put on deoderants.

They get dressed in their dirty clothes they are unable to wash, and enter a filthy kitchen. Pushing aside a stack of dirty plates, they make themselves a cup of coffee, then have an egg cooked in bacon grease, lard, or butter. They have to hurry, and can't enjoy some toast or a doughnut. They drive into work.

At lunchtime, they're unable to enjoy what everyone else is having. Salads with dressings, or even just the lettuce itself, and sandwiches. They can't even grab a candy bar or snack cake from the vending machine. Dejectedly, they go hungry as they watch others enjoy their lunches.

They get home for dinner, and pop on some bacon and hamburger. They long for some bread, but they're avoiding all this nasty stuff that could kill them. No ketchuup or BBQ sauce. they watch some television in their ever increasingly bad smelling home, then fall asleep in a filthy bed.

Hmmmm. Seems if we ban everything in an electronic cigarette, our everyday lives will be so profoundly affected we'd be stuck. That's not even thinking of going to a cabin or RV that's been weatherized for the winter (PG in the drinking water pipes to prevent freezing) or going to the doctor for some medicine. And if you need a rescue inhaler or nebulizer? Those would be out as well.

These organizations like ASH and Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids wishes you to think these things are dangerous and must be tested. In reality, this is nothing really new. It's all been there for a long time. AND EVEN THE NICOTROL INHALER COMBINES NICOTINE AND PG! AND THAT IS FDA APPROVED!

Believe the hype and think all the things in an Electronic Cigarette are as dangerous or more dangerous than a traditional cigarette. Then try to live a month without using ANY of the ingredients found in the Electronic cigarette. I guarantee you will sing a different tune.

Note: this is only a small list of the things containing the ingredients in Electronic Cigarettes, and is likely to be a lot larger.

I am constantly amazed by the seemingly 'need' to control the lives of everyone else. WTH happened to the land of the free and the home of the brave? With all the pain, suffering, frustration and hard work associated with just getting up in the morning and earning a living for ourselves and our families, why do so many waste their time looking for ways to control the behaviors of others?

Just get up in the morning find someone to give a smile to, work hard with integrity and honesty, live life to be happy and give someone a hug. But no, the American way has now become,; get up in the morning and do everything you can to make someone else's life more difficult and silly.

For over two centuries man kind has been getting by, why would e-cigarettes bring a stop to that? How about hug your neighbor instead of your neigbors tree?

Feel free to repost it, and others I have on here as well. As long as credit is given, and the article is not edited without approval, I have no issue with it. These are designed to combat the ever increasing insanity going on out there, from Organizations that use Naziesque tactics.

Sadly truth and fairness have nothing to do with the attack on our freedoms. I have completely gone low profile with my usage. Just like my handle indicates, covert.

Looks like the only company hiring right now is the Government. Obama and the Dems are destroying private enterprise as we know it.
