I wonder how Hong Kong is going to be liking this.

As far as the rest of China is concerned, Hong Kong can sit on it and spin.

They're going to make their money!

So what is the latest with this news? should I panic and hoard liquid or just keep an eye on this thread with mild ammusement. I wonder where else this problem will occur considering New Zeland is not vaper friendly.

All the best

Manufacturers are just going to have to ship through mainland China and not Hong Kong. This could potentially jack up the price of ecigs, accessories and liquids as it is more expensive to ship that way. It also takes longer.

It is definately getting serious. One of my suppliers here in US has had a shipment confiscated, which means they loose their shipping cost, have to pay to have it shipped out again. China is not very good about refunds. I have been notified by 2 of my suppliers in china, that they will no longer send kits in boxes or with cartridges, but in pieces. Don't know where this is going, but don't like the direction.

Thanks for your candor, KatyS. We users need accurate information so WE can plan our actions. The trend lines do not look good.

I don't think it matters if they are in kits, or with or without cartridges.. I had a small order for just batteries and atomizers get stopped. nothing else but those two parts were in my package.

I just recieved a similar message from a manufacturer. They explain there are still options but it looks grim. Not trying to cause a panic, just confirming what KatyS getting on her end.
