Default bingo

You younguns don't go to the right place. This old grama just saw three e smokers at church BINGO. When I asked them what kind they had they said they got them at a drug store here in town (Dubuque, Ia). And you say you can't teach an old dog new tricks lol. I gave them this web site so they can find out what a much better price and product these venders have than where they purchased theirs. I really enjoy this message board and have gotten a lot of good advice. Thank you all.

I find it odd to hear of so many people wanting or trying to be discreet with their E-Cigs, I am the exact opposite, I didn't hide my tobacco cigarettes and I will be damned if I will hide the legal substitute. I am getting about sick of everyone crying about what others do with themselves. This is water vapor, if this bothers them, then they got bigger problems than my E-Cig being around them. I think I have only seen one other person that had one and that was at the tobacco store, I have introduced a few friends to them but I don't count those.

I have seen dozens of people using them. Blu, SE and njoy mainly. (besides the people I have sold my produucts to) But these people all seek me out because of my job. wanting to compare, talk shop and like.

I keep business cards in my purse printed with a brief explanation of what e-cigs are and this forum address.

If I were in your shoes, I might have handed them one and simply said, "I couldn't help but overhear your conversation....you might be interested in this.." and left it at that.

I give these cards out to anyone who asks me what my e-cig is. I get a lot of that when I eat out (usually at the bar in both places where you can still smoke and also where there's a smoking ban).

(I printed these after scribbling the forum address on lots of napkins...)

With the card.. if they want to find out more, they have the info to do so.

A twenty-something friend of one of our sons noticed what I was vaping just a few days ago and said he had one in his truck, but wasn't having much luck. He pulled out a charge-in-the-pack setup that he bought at the local smoke shop for $10. Bad atomizer, carts that can't be refilled, and a little tiny e-cig that made my super mini look like a cigar. Showed him mine and offered a few suggestions, mainly to get on this forum and read up. He's suppose to be over in a few days so we can show him more. Other than him - we haven't met anyone vaping that we hadn't introduced to it.

Back in June I flew down to Georgia to visit family. I stealth-vaped on the flights, which was liberating, especially as the tension mounted through turbulence. Anyway, about 30 minutes from Seattle on the return flight to Washington, my seatmate looked over and noticed me sneaking a pull. He said "Whoa, wait, you can use that on the plane?" At first, I was like "Busted!" and prepared to get cussed out or complained about. To my surprise and amusement, he pulled out a RN4081 like mine from a fannypack and said "I've been debating on whether or not to use this in the lavatory."

I advised him on the ways to be sneaky, i.e. holding the vapor in long enough for it to dissipate in the lungs, etc., and he said "I wish you would have told me that in Atlanta!" I told him about the forum, so I dunno... he might even be reading this thread now.

I haven't met any others yet. The e-cig has yet to really take off in New Zealand. There is one place in NZ where they can be bought, but the nicotine cartridges and liquid cannot legally be sold here, so one has to order that from overseas. I get the feeling that not many people can be arsed to do that.

It was fun not having to go outside to smoke at the party I went to last night. Once the hostess understood what an e-cigarette is (and more importantly, what it isn't) I was grand!

Something you might be interested in... A company in the UK is selling stealth juice. I've just gotten in my second batch. It produces nearly no vapor after inhaling. Very strong hit. Very menthol, their only flavor in this juice apparently. I've got a 15 hour flight coming up and I'm definitely going to be using this stuff, either in my seat or in the head. I use it at work as well, just so that I don't attract a bunch of unwanted attention.
