hi peaceful. i agree with fv: chinese quality control sucks. i don't tend to clean mine. just occasionally blow them out. mine last on average, at least five weeks, but i have allot of pvs, so rarely is there one getting to hot. If i clean, i just used boiling distilled water to soak, blow out and let dry. sometimes i re-prime with vg

Question/Poll for all: How long do you re-use your atomizers? Cleaning preferences or just toss 'em and move on?

If they're good attys, still going strong with lots of life left, I'll give them a soak in some Everclear for about an hour. Then I rinse them under hot water and place on a paper towel to drain. After that, I put some uncooked long grain rice in a small airtight container and sink the attys in there for about 24 hours. The rice really dries the attys well, you want them completely dry before using again.

Yea, but underneath is yucky, hard to get off glue. It's a real pain in the buttocks to get them clean.

I use non acetone nail polish remover on a paper towel to remove the glue, that works really well for me. Just take a clean, wet paper towel to wipe them afterwards.

It depends on the atty. I have some that I have been cleaning and reusing for months. Some last longer than others. It's the QC in China that makes the difference imo.

Cleaning: I use a sonic jewelry cleaner. If they are really horrid I soak them in denture cleaner overnight first. Then rinse them really well or they will taste icky.

Denture cleaner? That's really interesting. I never heard of that method.

Does a fantastic job of cleaning lots of things. It takes the creepy hard water stain out of vases too.

Just to let you know, I sold the whole lot of black 3.0 cartos on the classies for just about what I paid for them. I'm good with that.
