a bit OT, but this ais about primer in atomizers:

1.) Drip 3 drops of unflavored PG into the atty and then hit the buttone repeatedly until the PG is gone far, far away... OR

2.) Use 3 drops of pure grain alcohol (PGA, sometimes branded as "Everclear.") Press the button repeatedly until the PGA has gone far, far away.

3.) Use a short soak in _distilled_ water. This is important: Only distilled water. Bottled drinking water, R.O. filtered water, Britta water, tap water will *not* . Only distilled water is relatively ion-free,. After soaking the atty in the distilled water, blow it dry with a hair dryer.

Personally I don't like the vinegar/baking soda method for a couple reasons. First of all, I think the reaction of the acid vinegar and base baking soda could damage the glue sued in making the atty, or perhaps cause some corrosion on the coil. Secondly, if you don't get the vinegar taste out of the atty...yuck. But YMMV.

I am currently using a regular resistance (3.0 ohm?) on my 5 volt foxy box, vaping KBV Tootsie Rolly. I am also using an LR carto on my 3.7 volt Foxy, vaping Vapor Bomb's Mojito, which doesn't do well at this wattage, so I'll need to change out the carto in a minute here.

Oh, back to the atty cleaning trthing. An ultrasonic jewelry cleaner can be found on overstock.com and several other sites for around $40.00. Personally, I just vape through the nasty primer, usually some unflavored PG to start. It's not a big deal to me, but I can see where it could bother others.

My 5v box Foxy should be here tomorrow or Tuesday. Thank you so much Steve. I hope you had a fine Father's Day. I was also an art major and my kids all made homemade stuff for Will when they were young. Christmas Tree decorations were all made by them also as we didn't have alot of money then. I still put those decorations on the tree....lol...

I need some advice. Do 5volts give you a stronger throat hit than a 3.7? I was hoping that I could decrease my nicotine with 5v. Just wondering if you noticed a difference? Ciego you are welcome to advise also????

I will review the Foxy Box Mod after a week or two. I like to take my time before forming an opinion....

I would say it does give a little better throat hit. I think the fact that its a little warmer, with a little more vapor helps with the throat hit. Hopefully this will help you cut down on the nicotine I find the 5 volt more satisfying for sure.

Try KBVs RY4. Its awesome, if you like a mellow tobacco flavor with slight sweetness from the hints of vanilla and caramel.

Hey Ciego, how long does all this take you to clean an atty? Just curious. I might share with you what I do after you tell me!

I have to agree with Steve, but then it depends on what resistance you're using as well. 1.5 ohm at 3.7 is real close to 3.0 at 5v so keep that in mind. That said, I find I'm using the Boge 3.0 standard cartos more on 5v than I am the 1.25 or 1.5 duals that I love so much on 3.7. Why? Throat hit and VAPOR. I have reduced my nic from all 36 to mostly 24 now because I started getting headaches. I'm currently hooked on Dekang's Desert Ship/Camel Full flavor because it rocks on this 5v box with a cheap standard carto that just seems to keep on going, it's been weeks! Seriously... Hope that helps.

Hey Rob, did you mean you have gotten weeks out of one cheap carto? Are we talking a Boge?
