Haven't been around much, thanks to having more work than I have hours in a day and days in a week. I empathize with you, Todd.

Just finished a job, so now I get to see what I missed today. Lo and behold, news the debuts are getting closer. YAY!!

Here's my input, and what I look for:

When it comes to VV and the mod isn't regulated, I am always concerned about the durability of the door having to be opened and closed a lot when batts start to drop and voltage needs to be raised to compensate...until the swap-out of batts.

I'm a heavy vaper, so I drain batts really fast...sometimes faster than fast.

If the door is on a hinge, greatly reducing wear-and-tear and avoiding damage to the door, then I say read-out screen and control inside. If it's held on by magnets, then no worry. If it slides, I become concerned.

If the voltage adjustment requires a screwdriver, especially through a widdle hole, either way is a deal-killer for me. I look for easy to grab-and-turn knobs. Inside is peachy-fine with me if the read-out is inside as well. Makes sense.

Switch, I much prefer and gravitate to side switches. I don't like finger stretching that center-front switches require, at least for me. Center-front also limits me to just thumb use for firing. Index finger firing is awkward and not comfy.

The side switch is an easy finger placement, and depending on how I pick it up or hold it, I can use either thumb or index finger.

AND, most importantly, I think a front switch detracts from the gorgeousness of the woodies. I would much rather have the entire front left in all is beauty-ness.

And while not one of your questions, Todd, I also gravitate more towards thinner and taller than completely square mods. Like Odium said, more easily palm-able...again, at least for me. And if it's got some girly-curves to it (sorry, guys, best wording I could come up with), even better yet.

Again, one girl's likes and opinions. Waiting is a killer.

This being a wood mod and all, I'd say leave it as is - but - either way would be okay with me.

If you did have it on the outside, then an extra switch somewhere that allowed you to turn just the screen off (thinking stealth & extra batt life) would be nice. Of course, there's probably no room for such a thing, lol.

Again, either is fine by me...

But, if we are talking about a dial here - for me it would depend on how easy it is to use and how well it looks - the 'coolness factor' ... one of the nicest features of the Buzz Pro is that you can so easily 'dial to taste', want it a little warmer/cooler - just roll the dial... One of the drawbacks of the BP is it doesn't have a led screen, so if you're curious about what setting you have it at you have to go through the whole putting on/taking off an under-load meter ritual.

So ... maybe a combination of both features? Screen inside, dial outside?

I'd like to see a metal button - don't really care where, on a mod this size just about any location works just fine.

All in all, I'd think the way to go would be leave everything as is (keeps the cost down and that's also a feature!) on the Standard Max Woodie - but - also allow folks the choice to buy a Custom MW and show a list of what can be had - then they can add any or all of these options.

One, of many, really cool things about Maximum Vapors is your willingness to 'let us have it our way' and that's the feature I like best of all.

    1. Would you prefer to see the led screen from the outside of the box or have to open the door to see it?

Either way is fine with me. I like the concealed ones so people don't think "I'm on a countdown" but I can also see where folks would like to see what they are vaping at...maybe an option for either on the website?

    2. Would you prefer to adjust your voltage from outside the box or inside the box?

Inside, the sleeker the design, the better.

    3. Would you prefer the switch to be on the front of the box or on the side where the fun box is located?

I like mine on the front due to how I hold my woodies (that just sounded like a dirty mind thread entry).

O and I forgot I like the button on the side

Ok on an unrelated (well I guess it sort of is related because it is about a mod, just not what Todd asked) there is a untapped market that I would like to see filled. There is a thread about this and even tho I have asked a few times I hear crickets. So, who better to ask then our very own mod making mad man? So here it is...

There are NO strictly feminine mods!

Now please don't get me wrong, I don't mean I want a pink battery with some nail decals on it , not my thing, also not bashing anyone who does want or have that. I am talking about a sexy, sleek, colorful mod, that is made for a female. I don't want a tube mod as a suggestion, that seems to be what ppl think we fems need something that looks like a.....er.....
U know. I guess I am wanting something that when u look at it u know it is for a woman without making it overly girlie? Now bling is a different story, I like bling and shiny things.

So Todd, u up for that challenge, or is there one of the new mods that fits the bill?

Todds Modds. The Burger King of all Woodies! Yes, you can have it YOUR way. (uh oh, another T shirt? "I want my Woodie MY way"?)

Odium, no worries about a lawsuit. I don't believe in them.

A paddle on the other hand... van, pass that over here.

Moi? My dear, I'm shocked, what in the world makes you think that I might even have such a thing! *rumages through collection*.

Let's see now ... short? long? maybe a medium to start? Would you prefer something 'stingy' or perhaps one with more 'thud'? I suppose you could always ask Odium which one he thinks he - deserves - but, nah, where's the fun in that?

Always remember, never forget .. when the masochist desperately cries out "beat me, beat me!", the savvy Sadist replies "... maybe".
