The closer the wick the hole is positioned, the more vapor you get...mthe farther away, the more throat hit... Somewhere in between it balances between the two. It can go from smooth to harsh if you take it to the extremes, and it really works! If you find you have a juice that is lacking in hit... Dial it up! It's simple.

Now... Batteries, ohms, resistance... Forget about it! Start with 4 coils...if that's too hot, add a coil... Too cool...remove one. Specsmanship is silly... It's easy to make it work if you approach non-technically. I prefer that all users of the Zenesis forget about the tech stuff, because what is going to work even if you know nothing. I couldn't tell you what resistance my coil is at this moment, and I don't care. It's vaping well...nothing else matters!

I will do another video that covers ever base before the next round ships, but you will hear me say in it "let's not get all scientific... Wrap the wire and give it a try".

    That's all that matters!
Thank you so much for that explanation! NOW it seems so SIMPLE! I can do that.

I did watch your great video, btw, but I couldn't see how far apart the coils were, or any of the fine details of what you were doing, but now know it's a LOT easier than I thought. Thank you.

I like this quote: "let's not get all scientific... Wrap the wire and give it a try". I like that attitude.

First...YES you can handle this mod. It is very easy with practice....even if you have never vaped before. I started using Genisis attys after only two months of vaping...and now it's all I use. There is a slight learning curve....but if you watch videos, research vey little, and ask when unsure.....you will have it down with in a couple of attempts.

As for TH.....there are a few things that come in to play. First...your juice...starting with the nic content of the juice. Then you have to figure in the ingredients used in that juice. THIS part you can compensate for with your coils....if it hits too hard, add a wrap and cool it off.
Second part of TH has to do with airflow. The more airflow...the cooler the vapor because you are cooling the coil faster. Less airflow, stronger TH....less vapor. Airflow is a crucial factor to a properly functioning Genisis atty....no matter who it is made by.

As for the coil....this is the part that makes the Genisis so amazing! Wrapping your own coil allows you to get the vape the way you like it EVERY time...no matter what type of batter or mod you are using (because we all know they are not all created equal ). You have different types of resistance wire, but the majority has found that A1 Kanthal works best. It can be found on eBay for very cheap. Most of us use 32AWG (.20 mm) for the lower resistance. This let's you have more wraps, but still achieve a LR coil. 34AWG (.16 mm) has higher resistance per meter...so it takes less coils to achieve higher ohms.

    So let me simplify that...
3-4 wraps of 32g Kanthal will be between 1.4-1.7 ohm
3-4 wraps of 34g Kanthal will be between 2.0-2.4 ohm
    More wraps...higher resistance....cooler vapor
    Less wraps....lower resistance.....warmer vapor

    Bottom line is this....

Everyone has to start somewhere....so why not here. Complete control of your vape....absolute consistency each and every time. And the best part....a LARGE community of fellow Vapers willing to help you through it every step of the way. You can not go wrong with this mod.
Well, even I can understand your superb explanation! Copied and Pasted and printed for my reference sheet. I think I'm going to LOVE this mod AND the people on this forum. Thank you so much!

I don't have all of the answers....but I am glad to help any way I can.

YouTube has great videos on making a mesh wick....and I plan on doing one as well. So far, all I have made is a video o one of my mods. I can't wait to get a Zenisis so I can make a video of it as well. Im not getting in to doing reviews, but I want to do my part to spread the word of these amazing attys that anyone can use successfully.

I cant keep up with the mods that have come and gone....but my constants are Provari Mini & SMv2 paired with Spheroid with a never ending "want list"

And that you do! Also Zen is a great help. And many others.
As for the keep it simple.. I have 6 pricy VV mods.. None of witch have left 3.8 volts since "perfecting" Geninis style attys. No need for them anymore! No precise wick measuring, ohm readings, wrap 4 vape.. Your heart out!
