Just saw this thread. This is one of the coolest mods I've ever seen. Any chance of a variable volt version? That would make it the perfect pv.

From the reading I've done, the ability to fine tune the atty resistance and adjust throat hit by positioning the air hole, pretty much negates the need for VV.

That said, I do like the regulated voltage in my VV mod, as I don't have to worry about battery drop-off as they discharge.

Edited to add: The drawback to regulated voltage is the need for additional parts, circuits, and wiring, which is more potential for failure.

I'm sure with all the adjustability of the Zenesis even at 3.7 volts it performs much better than other mods. But, yes the regulated voltage of VV is beautiful as I hate battery drop off. It's def worth the potential for failure.

Use high drain batteries, except for a fresh charge. You (I) don't notice much drop off/sag anymore.

the kick will work in the zenesis(i'm assuming), sooo for 45$ you can have variable power in your standard zenesis. whenever its released anyways.

BTW, i prefer satin! less maintenance = good in my book.

Depending on the specs of the Kick, you could maybe use that in the Zenesis to turn it into a vv mod. The Kick is due to be released soon by Super T Manufacturing.

You can watch the Kick video on the Super T Manufacturing site if it interests you.

Yes, I had forgotten about the Kick. It will be interesting to see what kind of battery life will be gotten with the Kick and a smaller battery. If it fits the Zenesis and battery life is good...wow!

I belive that Zen said a while back that the standard, which takes 18350s, should work with the Kick using 18500s. That's assuming that the production version of the Kick stays as they have predicted it should be.
