How many dead ones do you have?
    How much did you drip?

I read on an other forum the "new and improved" dura batts will not be available for an other 3 / 4 weeks.

    So don't hold your breath.

My first 2 batts died; 2 replacements sent both died.....now waiting for those replacements.

I don't drip BUT I did make sure the cart was always wet so I did top off as I felt needed. That's what I do with my pens.....and the carts seemed large enough to take it....so I topped them off the same way. They vaped good like that when they worked. Had no idea that might be killing the batt (if that indeed was it). I only used them for about 2-3 days each before they died anyway.

Were there any specific cautions included about dripping? I don't know but I just never felt I needed to.

    3/4 weeks?

Hope they do work, for that wait!

It seems the liquid penetrates the battery easily. When it reaches the sensor and the sensor gets covered with the liquid, the batt stops working. Letting it dry for a while might work.

Those who dripped liquid directly on the atomizer told us that the batt would die shortly after.

For now I suggest not to do either or wait for the new improved batts. We tried covering the airflow sensor, the result was a more heavy draw, so we're looking at other solutions. The ultimate solution however is the manual switched DURA-C. Working sample will be ready this weekend and if all goes well in the coming days, we will ship the DURA-C sets and batts out ASAP end next week.

That is why JANTY will launch the DURA-C, no more batt problems and you just go ahead and give the atomizer a liquid BATH if you like

    Hi Sherid,

I know, and I can tell you that other suppliers will encounter the same difficulties. We are working on it!

The new DURA-C will be available ASAP. We are working on it as I type... Give us 3 to 4 weeks for the launch.

As for the pricing of the normal DURA sets: We will follow the prices of the other suppliers for the JOYE510 model but we will give a 6 month warranty!

    -----------------------------------------------------------------

    Interesting.

    So what is it?
Customers spilling liquid on the battery/atomizer, or the fact that other suppliers will encounter the same problem?

If it's OUR problem as a consumer, because we spill liquid on a battery, why does Janty "has to work on it"?

It makes no sense, and frankly it insults me that Ludo is trying to blame me for a faulty product Janty puts on the market.
Telling me that I put liquid on the atomizer and that's why battery after battery and atomizer after atomizer fails.

    Wow. freaking unbelievable.

Ludo, I think the Dura-C sounds great! But what do I do with the Dura I own and paid for....unless I get the new batts for it? Now if you want to replace it with the C, I'll gladly accept

Otherwise, I have to wait for those other batts to have a working ecig. Since I bought this one, I cannot buy another one unless I can get rid of this one first. Can't do that without working batts..lol

I think missed something here Sanneke... Did I blame you for your 8 batteries? I can understand you are not happy with it, talk to Jeff and he will solve it for you.

In the meanwhile we will improve the batt problem.

Sounds good. I think it's great that Ludo visits the forums and talks with his customers. Even with guys like Sanneke around.

I also have a Dura and 1 of the batts is fine. The other sometimes only comes on for 2 or so seconds then goes out. I mentioned it to Jeff and I ordered a spare atomizer as well (mine is fine BTW) so hopefully he popped a battery in there for me too. Jeff has been great so far.

Also for you people in this thread sayin "wah... i can't drip! It's my fault its broke!", BS. Ludo clearly acknowledged they have some batt problems and will take care of it. Jeez, no wonder most of the other vendors don't come around. I'm not a fanboy but i'd hate to see a vendor who actually shows up to get/give feedback get chased off by some short fused forum goers who are just trolling.

It's all over the place, all over this forums, that a dripping has caused people issues with batts. I'm a noob... and even i know this. and if you haven't been paying attention, and are simply just waiting to reply without reading:

The vendor has recommended that you do not drip.

So now you've been told. Take care of your electronics.

Well sanneke doesn't drip...and I don't drip, so I suppose this doesn't apply to us.
