I love my mother because she always found a creative way to teach us life lessons. She had a lot of metaphors in her repertoire, and knew just when to use them. Of course, after the release of the movie, "Forest Gump," she acquired the nickname of "Mama Gump." My brother and I still tease her with it to this day.

My mom taught me that moms roll their eyes and let grandparents do whatever they want. And boy does she take advantage now!!! LOL
