Landlord, I second what you say about the black walnut. It's gorgeous in person but in pics... I wouldn't pick it.
hey guys i posted a picture of the black walnut, i dont think it is so ugly .. i'm not a photographer , all wood (like the rest) should be exposed to proper light that enhances the features.
i have not been able to do it, i'm sorry , but i really like my little guy, it's really beautiful! the photo is taken in full sunlight without flash, live colors are very warm and loads more, when i look at it i think of fairy-tale forests and taste of nature, maybe it's crazy but all wood mod of the captain inspires me very different emotions and contemplation.

.. and then it smokes like a crematorium with this hat of regenerable atomizer!

    Ahoy all, good afternoon.

Talkin' about black walnut? It is beautiful, one of the first woods I used and I always have some around that makes it into every other batch or so. I also like the black cherry and that makes it into the batchs about as often. Don't misunderstand, the exotics are great but sometimes the traditional are just as awesome, cherry, walnut, maple, all gorgeous.

Catching up on PM's then off to work we go, ohh rah ..

I could probably get 9 mods out of it. About $25 above base price per mod isn't too bad?

Somebody buy it for me please? Awww, c'mon! Arrrr
I totally was like sure I'll buy some $25 wood for ya...Clicked the link, realized that wasn't what you meant Sorry Capp, too poor.

By the way got my batteries and charger in. I am happy to say my Mark-7 Destroyer has replaced my VV tube mod as my all-day vape . I will post some pictures later this afternoon as I am swamped on this laser at work. Thanks so much Capt', I never thought I'd switch to box mods so readily, this piece is a work of art!

Ohhh.... Cappy! What are you going to call the Mark 10? Barque? Galleon? Brigantine? Argosy? Ballinger? Nave? Something else?

    Oh, and, good morning!

I was thinking the "Marauder", it's a cool sounding name, but I am open to suggestions.

@Cheekymonkey, thanks for reminding me, I finished it I just have to ship the darn thing, got side-tracked. Should make your DIY life much easier

Break over, back to work I go, putting in some inlays atm, fun!
