I don't know why the Chinese liquids have such a bad reputation. The larger manufacturers like Dekang and Hangseng have laboratories and production facilities that rival some pharmaceutical companies. We should all remember, the Chinese invented vaping :-) And a lot of their flavors aren't too bad and they are quite affordable. Sure some of their flavors are pretty bad, but so are a lot of the flavors from American vendors. I guess it's all a matter of taste. Dekang's DK Tab (DK Tobacco) is pretty much my all day vape. I like their RY4 too. Again, I can't comment on the menthol or fruit flavors because I don't use them.

When I feel like splurging I break into a bottle of Halo's Tribeca or Prime 15. But it is very pricey, almost $20 for 30 ml before any discounts or sales. But it is quite tasty. My GF likes their menthol ice.

From what I've heard, the original recipe was lost and everyone is trying to recreate it. Might just be urban (or chinese) myth :-) I've had some very good and some very bad RY4s, from both American and Chinese vendors. I don't really know what the original tasted like. I've tried to mix my own with mediocre results. I did get some premixed RY4 flavoring that mixed with PG / VG and Nicotine base wasn't too bad. I think I got it from Good Prophets and they got it from Perfumers Apprentice (but I could be wrong)

Yeah...taste is always subjective too...LOL. TPA makes some great flavors I hear...of course I never believe EVERYTHING I read on the internet..LOL
