OK this thread is for people who do have any 2 different versions of a KR808d-1 to list compairisons. Please be as detailed as you can. If you find them the same say so, but please give an honest opinion. This thread is intended to help people researching the different products out there.
Steve, Drew and any other KR808D-1 suppliers if you would list here any modifications you have made ( without giving away any of your trade secrets ) that would be nice as well!
Please do not be vague. This is for detailed differences not for opinions ( so don't put I think this one puts out more vapor! Do not list a differance unless you can for a fact prove the differnce! If you want to prove the differnce back it up with video! ) and please do not slam any suppliers! This thread is soley to educate people about modifications that have been made by suppliers/vendors dictates ( or themselves ) before sale to customers.

OK i made a new thred I had to change it from differances between a VK and any other KR808D -1 because it wouldnt be fair to put that there :P Of course I encourage anyone who knows of any difference to also list it here. THanks

Mind you, I am responding because you have named me and I have been trying to stay out of the drama, but have also been biting my tongue!!!
First of all, to clarify, I ahve never said that my Kr808D-1 is better than any others, in fact the opposite that mine is EXACTLY IDENTICAL to all the others...
There are several batteries available for this model... I will attempt to list them as they were released
4 hole
4 hole with slot
2 hole with slot (long and short)
3 hole manual
3 hole Xlong Manual

The 4 holes are the oldest around the 3 hole Xlong the newest.
I was one of the first to sell the 2 hole slotted and I did not invent it...
I dont need to claim that my products are better because of me and preach about what I do...The reality is that most smarter folks will read through the BS and others will see eventually...
I find it comical that so many choose to argue about it and love to make it into a big deal...
The ottom line is, people arent stupid, and if it dont come out in the wash it will come out in the rinse...
Im sure you will see other suppliers chime in here...
I happened to have sent my products to 2 respected forum members this week who are articulate in their descriptions and plan on detailing the specific differences if any...
I also will tell you that suppliers who claim they have the best cartomizers that last longer are guilting the lily...The same supplier had an entire thread with his own customers complainig about the flavors("tasting like ass") that he was claiming were NEW in another thread earlier in the week and then said that they were old????

Read all the threads if your that curious and draw your own conclusion, but read them objectively rather than looking for evidence to disprove someone that you dont like or arguing with and you will see for yourself...
There is no special section of the factory that catres to one supplier, TRUST ME...
I have been selling more Kr808s consistantly for 6 months (more than anyone in the country) and my close second is not V4L, so I dont have to boast about anything...
Read back in the forum a few months(if you werent here) and tell me about customer service and who was here and providing THE BEST customer service in the business...

Thank you Drew. I really appreciate you responding here and being so honest I hope this is not adding to any drama because certainly that is not my intent, also I am not trying cause problems between suppliers ( everyone basically provides the same things and helps many people to get off the Analogs no matter what the product is Kr808D or 901 or 801 or 510 they all have the same goal and that in itself is a truely wonderful thing! )
TO me this is more about respect for all of the suppliers/vendors out there! There are several people who make claims that there is a difference based soley on subjective matter, and who have never owned a different brand or type. I am trying to cut through all that and I am hoping that if there is any support objetively to any claims that people will provide it ( concreate proof only please)
If one was/is different then the others for it to be known it is not the same ( doesn't make it better or worse but different)
All of the KR808D-1 vendors really get a raw deal on the forums as they are forced to share a thread called Other. It would be nice if they all had one!

If you just blindly read posts you will hear all kinds of claims.... different wiring, different electronics, different filler, different juice, different coils, different raw battery internals.. the list goes on and on.

But if you look closely, I'll think that you'll notice that you rarely if ever see these claims coming from the actual importer/distributor. And there is probably a very good reason for this. Think about it.
