DSE901 with round mouthpiece?
I just recived a new shipment of DSE901's. These are the true 901's and the white ones now come with a round mouthpiece. I don't know if there making a swithch or what because the black ones still come with a flat mouthpiece. Does anyone have any round cartridges?
Also who are the other supliers that sell the true DSE901's?

Meh, I've never purchased any white cartridges. All my blacks have been the one piece Cartridges with the flat/slit in them; do these white cartridges have one piece or two?

Hey Nathan,
Let me clear some things up for you. There are 3 major factories in china that makes electronic cigarettes and of the 3, First Union (the biggest) are the makers of RN series, and Sailebao makers of the DSE series. Kanger Tech are makers of K series.
The one you've purchased is the TRUE DSE-901 made first by Sailebao. The Black ones you are aware of are actually a COPY of the Sailebao DSE901 by First Union. The model for the Black DSE901 or DSE901-B is RN4075.
The RN4075 is equipped with an atomizer that is 15% overclocked for more vapor production. However, its direct downside is the atomizer life, battery life, and cartridge life are all slightly shorter.
Its a win some lose some...
Round cartridges (original DSE901 cartridges) can be purchased at AnyCigarette, Electronic Cigarette Superstore
Hope this helps

Hey Any,
Do you know if the round carts for the true 901's are compatible with the DSE series?

I have some round cartridges and to be honest I find that they are harder to pull on. I prefer the older ones. The round ones only have air flow down one side while the older ones have it on both sides. My conclusion is that the round ones look better but smoke worse.

I know you are trying to help but that is not true. The black ones and the white ones are both true DSE901's. I know this because the both have "SBL" on the battery meaning they are made by Sailebao.
The place i buy them said that they no longer sell first union products because they had quality problems. I understand this because i know from experiance they have quality problems.
For some reason people think that if there black they are a RN but that is not true. Most of them are RN's but not the ones i have.

From my observations you need to have the right atomizer paired up with the round carts. The RN's bridge doesn't seem to make good contact with the wool in the rounds, where as the true 901's have a higher, more pointy arch and reach it fine.
Of course I could be wrong, in which case just substitute "true 901's" for "RN's" in the above statement!

I have both atomizers. While the higher atomizer works with both types of cartridge, the lower type struggles with the round carts. however, in both the draw is more difficult than with the older carts
