Before i say anything, let it be known that I already have a reputation for being a cheapskate by always ordering from China. So naturally, I will be paying more attention to the price.
So lets see, most of the top suppliers in this forum sells a good starter kit at an average of $49.95. By adding an extra atomier that most of the said suppliers sells at $10, you are selling the Yeti for $59.95 at a pre order promotional price. How is that considered a promotion?
After the "promotion", the price will increase to $69.95 for only 1 atomiser. This is not a good strategy on this forum imo. This forum has the most knowledgeable vapers around. Most of them already knows more or less how much you bought from your supplier.
This is not a flame. I'm just throwing this out for discussion cos you might have a good point that i missed out.

pricing...
There is a long story about the pricing... Im sure rob might want to chime in here about the pricing.. especially since it was him having the discussions with the suppliers. And according to the supplier the only difference between the 510 and the dura is the "logo ring" that says Janty. They said if i ordered 500 of them, i could have same logo ring with my logo on it. But that is as far as i will go and let Rob Chime in about the pricing problems..

Well, I really don't want to open up a can of worms, especially on the forums. So I won't! Regardless my asking price of $69.99 after shipments arrived is incorrect, so hopefully this makes it seem more like a 'deal'. I will disclose the pricing after the shipment arrives, all i gotta say is $59.99 beats the hell out of what it's going to be at.

Another company posted about carrying Joye products and made it sound as though Joye forces suppliers to charge a certain amount, which sucks, but it doesn't sound like there is anything the suppliers can do about it. Joye probably doesn't want to make Janty mad

I'm another notorious cheapskate when it comes to e-cigs, after all we are buying a rechargeable battery connected to a filament. Something that couldn't cost more than 20 bucks to manufacture, being a very simple electronic device. The filament which has a limited lifespan and will have to be replaced shortly, so why would we want to buy a more expensive one, knowing all of the things we know about e-cigs? Or are you going to be doing the atomizer carousel like Janty to make people feel like they are justified paying the higher price?

The Yeti is a steal
I ordered one from altsmoke for the pre sale of $59.95 along with PPC for an extra 19.95 I cant wait. I emailed joye and they said the Janty Dura is a 510.
Janty sells the same for $154.95

Sadly, the price is not up to me. I wanted to go cheaper than what I did, but last night I was informed I could not sell them as cheaply as I had originally planned to. Well I could, but the odds of me getting more in the future would've been a tad bit harder.
Regardless, as an informed purchaser of ECigs, you know that these are not made in the US, they do/can be seized/trapped/refused in customs, that china charges an arm and a leg for shipping, units have a chance of dying shortly after arrival, and know about 10-15% of all items that are purchased from the manufacturer will arrive DOA.
So between the possibilities of units disappearing, receiving bad products to begin with, high shipping costs, units dying in the first 2 weeks, replacing units that have died, and having the manufacturer raise the price per unit to try to encourage the price increase on our units, I think that the price we're offering them presently is still a good one.
Once the promo ends we will have higher priced units and with that comes extended warranties. All items I carry do have warranties...but they all vary depending on the price. Trust me, i'm not going to jack up the price and not give you something in return. Because that wouldn't be right of me to do; my mystery bags...I actually lost money on them. And I will continue to lose money on them because they are fun to do :P.
I also do monthly give aways to people who are signed up to my newsletter, and give them codes to receive 10%-20% off on items in my store. I could rant forever in regards to these units and what i wanted to sell them at, but sadly I suppose I'll stop here.
If you wanna talk more about it feel free to chat with me on the front of my website :P Or sitting on my F.A.Q. Pages.

You have a point but Chinese suppliers usually don't care how much you sell. They just want you to buy and pay. Smokeanywhere ppl sells at $150 but you don't see Kanger forcing other KR model suppliers to sell at a certain price. The same for Njoy and Sedansa. Thats the whole reason behind OEM and branding. I don't see why and how Joye is different.
I love the mystery bag idea. Instead of putting certain inventories on sale, just put them in a mystery bag at a bargain price. Great way of controlling stocks and providing customers a deal. Win win for everyone. As a marketing person, you have my respect.
