I ordered some late on Friday. I wasn't expecting them to arrive until Wednesday so I was pleasantly surprised to see them in my mailbox today. I ordered 3 tapered DTs (two clear and one cobalt). Unfortunately, the cobalt one I received was not tapered.

The non-tapered version is not perfectly cylindrical; it has a bit of a bowed shape (like an elongated cask/wooden barrel). The tapered version has a similar shape except that it has a slight concavity in the middle. I ordered 3 tapered DTs because I imagined that they would be more comfortable on my lips, and they are just as I expected. The non-tapered version still feels nice. I just prefer the tapered.

Juice slides down them like no other. I wasn't sure what you guys meant when some of you said that "the flavor is better with these DTs." Maybe it's my imagination, but I see what everyone was saying. For what reason or another (and maybe it is my imagination), the flavor of my juices do come through more!

They are a bit more difficult to insert into an atty/carto than other DTs I own. It's a tight fit because the o-ring is a bit large and gets pinched on the rim of the atty/carto, but I got it on by twisting it around while pressing it in. Once it's in there, it's in there good. There's no way that this thing will come off unintentionally.

All 3 DTs are different lengths, but that is to be expected when purchasing a hand made item. The length differences are not more than a millimeter or two. The packaging was a bit frustrating. Each DT was wrapped in bubble wrap, and the bubble wrap was wrapped with what seemed to be a yard of packing tape. When I opened the USPS envelope, all I saw was what looked like 3 crumpled wads of packing tape. I guess they just wanted to make sure that the DTs didn't break in transit. I guess it's better to have crazy wrapping than broken DTs

Overall, I am more than happy with these DTs. They're gonna make the perfect tips for my P10 and P16 that are coming later this week!!!

EDIT: I just swapped the o-rings with ones from my other DTs, and it has made a world of difference. I constantly take my DTs on and off, and these smaller o-rings make it a lot easier to do so.

Yeah, got mine in this last weekend and they ROCK!!! 2 tapered and 1 untapered. Only observation I would make is that they definitely need a slimmer o ring on them.

Go to Lowes or Home Depot or Ace-whatever, and in the plumbing section you can pick up some o-rings. Take the drip tip with you and grab a service person.

I ordered two of these drip tips for my new ego, and I absolutely love them. Haven't used anything else since they arrived. As much as I thought I'd like the convenience of the ego-t, and I do...I'm addicted to the flavor I get and the feel and fit of this tip.

Also, a shout out to John @ theecig. I wanted to try a LR atomizer, so ordered one. It turned out to be bad, and John immediately responded and reshipped. They arrived right away, and to my surprise he sent me two. I really appreciate the great service!

Bella-In my vid of the vapemate w/ pyrex tips-you can see them.

LOL at ukeman. My fingers were ahead of me and I did type pus and caught it quick enough that the system did not register the quick edit. I laughed when it happened.

So what's the difference between tapered and non-tapered?
