Great vaping little mod.
I use the Vapage Bottom Feeder 1.5ohm Atomizer on mine.

Great review... I was psyched to turn in up to 6v but theres a problem.... you said that these two batteries in series will make 6.4v nominal... which is true but im 95% sure that when you run 2 batteries in series your left with 200mah, NOT 400mah. Which is scary small in terms of capacity. The only way to get 400mah out of it would be to run them in parrallel at 3.2v which im sure noone wants to do.

So, just to clarify, you mention that the atomizers are only $3... The cartomizers are $3 (2-pack for $5.99, and only currently available in 2.2ohm)

I really like the look & size of this mod, but those proprietary attys are a bit daunting. Are they just out of stock of something in SR? Or discontinued? Or... ?

The hybrid bottom feeder atomizers are sold through clouds of vapor too. The hybrids come in 1.5, 2.0, & 2.5. The silo cartos come in 1.8, 2.0, & 2.2. They had 2.8 silos too, but I don't know if they are making those any longer. The out of stock silos are supposed to be in next week. Don't fear the hybrids & silos. They are fantastic!

Have you run any of these at 6v with the IFR 14250? Anything less than 3.2Ω tends to taste burnt on my SB with AW LiFePO4 RCR 123...

Erich i ordered some cr2 batteries to run in series @ 6v.... ill let yah know but im guessing 2.8 wont be high enough.

I've been rocking my vmod at 6v with two cr2 3v batteries in series w/ the 2.2 silos. Id really prefer a higher res atty, but they don't have anything higher than 2.5 atties right now. Been fluttering the button and getting amazing vapor production and still on first silo since upping voltage. I feel like the coil is actually staying cleaner but you have to be careful not to over heat the coil. The fit was really tight but seemed fine until I tried to remove the batteries. that was a pain in the ass. I ended up drilling a small hole in the chassis so I could poke them out from the opposite side. Was careful to keep the hole small as to not compromise the integrity of the chassis.
