Usefulness - On a scale from 1 to 10, how TRULY useful is this product. Is it just "flare" or is it absolutely indispensable?
Ease of operation - 1 to 10. 1 = You'd better get advanced degrees in electrical engineering and particle physics / 10 = So easy, a cav...uuhm...It's REALLY easy to use.
Delivery as promised - 1 to 10. Does the device do what it claims to do? 1 = I asked for a case and they sent me a drive-shaft / 10 = It does EXACTLY what it's supposed to...and THEN some!
Overall score : 1 - 10 (this is not an average, it is an overall impression of the item)

Yeah, the passthrough makes a huge difference for me. I love using it. I can't really see sitting around the house using my 510 WITHOUT it, now.

Great review. Pretty much on par with my experience. I'm a big time computer user (at home and at work) so there is always a USB nearby. This thing not only allows for ease of use but saves my batteries, which in turn will save me money-- how cool is that?

Thank you Terraphon. I too bought one from e-smokey and when I first tried it I was somewhat disappointed. Seemed my batteries worked better, but like you said I guess it takes awhile for it to get going. Now it's working great! I wish I would have seen your review a couple of days ago. Now I have a more expensive comming any day now. Could have saved $40 bucks! Oh well at least I'll have a "primo" one for back up. Great review!

I just got my passthrough 510 in the mail it seems to be working great at times but then not so well at others but i saw that he said there is a breaking in period so before i call saying it doesn't work i plan on giving it a couple of days, but i will say that when it does work it is absolutely great throat hit is amazing!!!! yay i really hope this works because the idea of not having to charge it while i sit at the computer for hours is ideal!
