    HI Crash...

Seems you upset the manufacturer a little with your review:

an i like it but SD review.. - ECigScrewdriver

Same rhetoric as usual... user error.

I've noticed anytime anyone has a problem with the almighty, never ever fails, "I invented the ultimate device, it's perfect in every way", over hyped, over priced battery pack... it's ALWAYS the users fault.

Once again Crash, thank you for an honest review.

Once again Crash, thank you for an honest review.

ah its okay man, i still love my screwdriver both of them at that, i didn't mean to offend anyone.

and i'm too lazy to go sign up there and say this, but yes i realize if you charge the batteries slower they tend to last longer, and yes with the charger i use they charge faster but you need to charge 2 of them at a time unlike the original charger, and as far as the switch goes yea sure if i press it hard it will working 10 time out of 10 but who is to say it wont break then?? so i try to use it with a sense of ehhh well i just dont want to break it.

So if anything i can buy 4 pack of batteries and charge them 2 at a time in my charger, and it would only take me an hour and a half. I do admit I'm a very lazy and impatient person, so I can deal with a few minor risks. Anyway trog my review was in no way meant to upset you it was simply done to offer an honest perspective and I will continue to love both my SD's since I know they're the very first of their kind

I don't think you offended anyone, including trog. trog just says what he thinks, and mostly it's nothing personal. trog makes the SD, it is what it is, people either like it or not - I, and a lot of other people like it. trog isn't looking to win popularity contests, he makes the SD and sells it - people buy it. trog stands by what he makes.

On the "switch" issue - I have pressed my SD switches hard (or as hard as a pinkie can press) for months - no problems.

I exchanged words with trog all is fine. That and I generally tend to use the back of my hand I can of hold it like a pipe so bit afraid I'm going to put too much pressure on it. And I too like the SD as I've stated on many occasions, but nothing in life is perfect. Or more so to the point what one person might consider perfect another person might feel is just short of perfection.

I completely agree that nothing is perfect. What have have at the moment in e-cig world is the best that people can come up with within the limitations of current battery and atomiser technology. As I've said before, "mods" are all about providing consistent power to (far from perfect) atomisers. The rest is all about personal choice in aesthetics and ergonomics...

All mods are essentially the same thing, big ol' battery with a atty attached to it, they're all just constructed differently and in the end we're just paying for the ingenuity that goes into producing/manufacturing them.

Thanks Crash! I love your honesty and please don't change! I too have two Screwdrivers and I do like them, but both sit in a drawer. I just happen to like the Prodigy more. Again, I do like the Screwdriver and it's probably my second favorite.

If you don't like my reviewing style or agree with my opinions don't watch them, I won't be changing who I am or how I feel towards something over some meaningless comments. One more thing I do stop bye the SD forum from time to time as it contains useful information regarding the mod.
"Cult" LOL - but seriously, whilst I think "cult" is a bit strong for the SD forum members, I DO dislike the "fan mentality" and "inventor worship" that seems to constantly reoccur in the e-cig world - be it for the SD, GG, Prodigy, etc etc.

I have a lot of respect for trog - who is who he is - and the SD does fine for me, but I'm not going to trot around saying trog is god (he wouldn't like that anyway ) or the SD is the best thing since sliced bread - I'm sure lots of the other battery holders are equally good for those whose needs they meet...

As for the video - if I'm honest I haven't watched more than the beginning (I was interested in what you sounded like) and completely agree that if people don't like a review, then leave it be. I do think manufacturers have a right to comment on "fact" but style is about preference...

Okay well to keep this review totally objective I have been communicating with Trog through emails since I know he's not allowed to post in the review section, and I he sent me an email today, that I'd like to share with anyone that owns the SD, I did get his permission to do so by the way.

"just a tip about why we dont ship those dual black charges.. we have some and use them but.. if two batteries are placed in the buggers one the correct way around and one the wrong way around they directly short out the batteries and a real "Kaboom" happens..this is not connected to over charging.. it happens within two minutes of inserting the batteries.. any kabooms are bad news for us.. lithium batteries are dangerous when directly shorted out.. the bigger they are the more dangerous they are.. used with care these things are okay.. but we know that sometimes they aint gonna be.. so making things as idiot proof as what we can is part of it all..

this is also why we stick to the big enough but not any bigger than it has to be 16340 SD design.... and only one of them.. we play the "idiot" and find all this stuff out.. the other thing not to do is carry the things loose in your pocket with loose change or keys..

setting your pants on fire is quite embarrassing.. me playing the real idiot that time.. so i know.. he he he

if you need to know anything about all this crap just let me know.. we do know most of what there is to know..

    trog"

so basically the slow charger keeps the SD idiot proof, and to all the SD fans or anyone thats anti SD that just comments on the review to cause drama well get a life. The review is meant to help people not spark flames, Trog is a great guy and so is his product.
