Only reasons I can see is back up and using different flavors. I change flavors all day. I keep at least two going, sometimes four.

Thanks Wireguy. I would think that just changing atties will take care of that though.

Ive been using 14500's for over 6 months and havent had a problem yet. they are so cheap you should get about 4-6 of them. they last a long time.

This is a very nice device BUT the seller cybervex fancies himself a tender genius who is easily disturbed. When you write him in an email, be advised you're walking on eggshells. You might set him off, and he may not respond. If you follow up about the unanswered message, he may respond with a curt reply. Consider yourself lucky that he responded to you at all!

This is not a good way to do business dude. Please rectify it.

My Bartleby is still going strong after 2+ months of non-stop vaping. I haven't even TOUCHED a 510 battery since I got this thing!

I have dropped mine SEVERAL times, and, thankfully, nothing has been damaged in the process. I have also flooded it SEVERAL times (I tend to re-drip a bit too often, haha). Overall, this thing is a beast. I have NEVER ran the battery completely down (I'm usually at a computer... at home and at work... sooooo). However, I have used it for an entire 8-hour shift of work and an hour round-trip drive without recharging, and it was still going strong. I do not vape a lot at work, though.

The only problem I've had is with the negative side connection of the battery (the silver thing with the spring that connects to the switch). During one of my drops I apparently knocked it loose, so that it will "fly out" anytime I remove the battery. I lost it under my desk at work once during one of these episodes. 10 minutes later, I found it. LOL. I'm thinking of putting a little glue on it to hold it in place... no biggie.

I certainly recommend one of these, but as for the 5V Bart, a true passthrough would be more usable for me, as the USB function is the biggest reason I got this thing.

Two thumbs up from me. My first, and only, mod. I don't really see any reason to go any further... I love it!

Has anyone tried to replace a switch on one of these yet? Mine is finally starting to give out from use and I can't expect Jay to guarantee the switches forever. I've just started down the modding path and thought about replacing the existing switch with one of the ones I just got from MadVapes.

    Thoughts?

I got one this week...and he was very helpful and nice when i ordered mine. I even questioned him about using cartomizers on them.

Great device...i love vaping it while sitting at the computer, and it charges up the battery as I vape !

This is easily one of my favorites...Gonna have to change my banner to add the Bartleby there

My girlfriend and I received our Bartlebies from CyberVex about a month ago and I am extremely pleased with it so far.

The battery in mine lasts ALL day long. Today in fact it finally gave out after around 22 hours since last charge. I also love the convenience of just plugging the thing in via the USB cable. No messing around with batteries and I can still use it while it's charging.

For those that are wondering, the adapters from AltSmoke fit perfectly in these babies. I know because my girlfriend's bartleby was a 901 which I thought she should try out for less of a harsh throat hit. But as it turns out she didn't like the decreased vapor, so I bought a 901 to 510 adapter and it drops in the recessed battery connector hole perfectly.

I would definitely recommend these to anyone. The bartleby works great and the price is right!

If it's the horn button you'll probably need a much larger hole, might be tricky.

You're right. I e-mailed Jay and he gave me some tips on removing the epoxy and drilling out the old switch. He also said the MV horn switch wouldn't work.
