if you look at the bottom when he flashes the box it looks like a usb port to me, but i may have been mistaken.

Yeah... that's the latch for the box (on top):
Jay/Bartleby makes his own chip for the USB port. I think only Janty/Joye stick and perhaps the fistpack has them other than the Bart.

In that vid the switch is also crooked, plus I believe he uses hot melt glue, which for me has never held up to e-liquid.

For a basic box mod this one seems to be a good choice.

Seems like a pretty simple mod - anyone know what switch they're using? I'd like to make one, but the momentary switch I've gotten from Radio Shack in the past is too hard to press comfortably.

I can't say enough good things about the Bartleby. I purchased extra usb cords from cybervex when I bought it and have placed them at strategic locations (computer, living room, bedroom) in my house and can vape connected in my car as well. The only time my battery goes dead is when I intentionally let it. I read somewhere on ECF that it's better to charge the batteries in a charger occasionally so I do that once every weekend. I've never had any mechanical problems whatsoever and have been experiencing stress-free vaping since I got it. Jay was also great to deal with and I hope to be able to purchase a back-up unit from him soon.

    200% AGREE!!

It's an impressive PV for being home/hand built using pretty much off the shelf components. I've not put mine down since buying it and nothing keeps a charge like this thing on the usb.

I do hope Jay continues to "stay in business" even with the twins approach the terrible two's stage soon.

Ooh, hadn't thought about the tt's. Guess I'd better hurry and get that back-up while Jay still has the mental faculties to slap one together.
