Great review as usual Scott.
One question. Does that one have a battery in it? I have a portable battery pack but it will only work on a passthrough with a built in battery.
Oh, and nice auto-focus on that camera! When you zoomed in and out it never went out of focus for a second.

do you know if there is anyway of telling if it has a battery inside without actually taking it apart?

im happy to take it apart to answer your question if necessary.........but would rather avoid doing that if possible! lol

No, don't take it apart. I'm not sure but I think the one with the battery inside may work without being plugged in to a USB. I guess if you have a battery the same size you could compare the weight of the two and the passthrough would weigh less if there were not a battery in it.

I believe the passthrough's that your talking about Houdini have a battery box at the end of the usb cable just next to the piece that you plug into your computer. If the actual usb cable does not have a black box on it then it is pulling power directly from the computer to the e-cig. The one's with the battery pull power from the computer to charge the battery in the box which then the battery powers the e-cig. Does this passhtrough have a box at the end of the usb cable?
