I wonder then what is different between your findings and kevbow's review. I thought he said 10 hours total vaping time before recharging. I guess it all comes down to vaping style.

Regardless 4 solid hours is impressive, spread over the day and you are covered with one batt.

This is true. In an hours time I will take a good 6 or 7 hits then put it down for about 10 sometimes 15 minutes. Then take a good 6 or 7 hits again. That's pretty much how I vape throughout the day. If your a chain vaper and hitting it every minute then obviously the hours you would get out of the battery would be much less. The 10 1/2 hours was based on my vaping style.

Well it was an easy choice for me...Janty US has no stock now in any color, plus with TW the extra atomizer and 10 carts is a bonus for me since I travel sometimes and can't pre-fill before I go. Picked up the rapid charger too. Either one would be a great choice, and the longer warranty would be nice. I've heard great things about Janty and am sure I will try one of their products one day. Just didn't work out this time.

    Can't wait to try it!

Sheesh.... I REALLY have to stop coming to this forum.

I couldn't help myself and just bought one of the last 18 that TW has left.

I needed a couple of new atomizers anyway.

Thumbs up Tornado is all that

Hey. I have been lurking around these forums for some time and need to post because of my experience with the Tornado and Totally Wicked. Lets just say this this PV is the bomb!

I have been vaping for about 3 months with a 510. Overall, it has been a great experience. I was a fairly light smoker (compared to some), when drinking or driving (no not drinking and driving at the same time).

I love my 510. It does everything I want it to do and has been a great start to the world of vaping. My only complaint is the battery life. My experience is that I would be changing batteries about 10 times a day. In comes my next purchase, the Tornado for TW.

First, my experience with TW was great. Fast shipping, great email communication and my order arrived as expected with no issues. I have nothing but positive things to say about TW.

The Tornado (or Ego as per Janty) is a wonderful PV! Compared to my 510, the vape is much more complex. Better throat hit, better flavor and better vapor compared with the 510. And this Tornado is a great looking PV. I have nothing but positive things to say thus far. The big thing I will be looking for is the battery life. Many have posted a lot of different battery experiences with the the Tornado/Ego. I will update this after a few days with my experience and hope that the battery life with take away all my previous 510 concerns.

Here's to all the vapors out there. This appears to be one great items.

    Ok, so first impressions....

As with every other kit I have ever purchased I tossed the first batt on the charger and hooked the other up to test it out (this kit arrived just in time, my last 510 battery just died on me). I did a few test hits to burn off the primer and then started hitting it normal. I was very dissapointed in the almost invisible amount of vapor and the very weak flavor. I hit it for a few more minutes and it was the same. I was fairly sure I had already removed all the primer but it still was not hitting.

I tossed the 2nd battery on the charger (my 510 usb charger works fine with it) and gave it 40 minutes while I was reading this thread and talking to ridewithme (tornado owner). He said his worked great. I took my batt off and tried it again. Major difference this time. I actually got a nice hit and decent flavor. After about 40 more minutes I put that batt back on the charger and took the one that had been charging the full time and tried it. Even better vapor and nice TH. I do not see how these batteries can have no dropoff yet work so bad while low on charge but they do. I guess I am spoiled by myshkin (rockymountainvapor.com) as he has never shipped me a kit/battery that was not 90-95% charged and expected similar results.

My second impression is much better than my first and as its been said, these do hit much better than a stock 510. If it continues to improve with charge, I might be a fan in the morning (heading off to bed right now).

One last thing. It has been mentioned that the button is the major con of this unit by a few others. I will agree that it is cheap, ugly and sticks out too much (I anticipate pocket firing with it) and I think the worst part will be that the cone makes it harder to unscrew the batt a little. I often do this when I pocket my 510 to avoid pocket firing. I would like some sort of safety screw/switch for this to make up for this. Maybe the next version of this unit could fix this issue.
