My observations would be that yes the black looks way better than plat and that the button has a certain amount of "play" around it that I am not too fond of but does not affect how it works in any way.

Also the button is not so much concave but more like the rim at the top of a soda can which is hard plastic and which leaves a little circle on your finger after you depress it. (and no I'm not pressing it hard lol)

Again not a deal breaker or anything like that but more like an unfortunate design choice.

It's still my fav PV right now though by far with incredible battery life and performance for it's size.

Strangely enough I think it would look more balanced with another half an inch or so on the battery end and can't wait to see if a "mega" battery version comes out.

Well if you're going to add a half an inch to it.. then you might as well use that space to include a USB connector and the charging circuit (Baby J, Bartleby, etc..).

I think Mik of Janty brought this up as a design option thread a little while ago...

That would be pretty sweet, I was just hoping it would go from 650mah to 900mah but the built in PT/charger combo would make the thing almost perfect.

yup , got my tornado this morning , charged the lil fella and started vaping with it at mid-day.
Now I'm a rabid vaper , it's perma-attached to my gob and this battery finnaly died at 20:45 tonight.. that out performs my SD for battery life.

Certainly gonna be ordering a multi-pack of batteries for this baby.

well impressed and I love the form factor too..

    Good stuff..

So are the carts that come with it good enough or do they need a PTB or foam mod like the 510 benefits from?

    hi mate,

the carts are just regular 510 carts. personally, i dont use any cart mods on any e-cig as i find regular carts to work just fine

but if you dont like the standard 510 carts then yes, you will need to do a mod like you mentioned.

    cheers,

    scott
