That wouldnt work as the switch is not the only problem. The manuals are longer than the auto so the lid won't close unless you are happy to bend it.
Janty's answer is to introduce a new manual batery in a few weeks that will fit the PCC.

I looked again and now the Janty site is saying that the PCC works with the dura-c which is manual if i'm not mistaken.

I got my PCC today and can confirm it works with the short manual batteries. The hole is just wide enough that it doesn't click the switch, if it does click it, you hear a distinct clicking sound, which you can test by wiggling the battery around in there. Solidly built, although the flip top seems slightly strange. It's indicator light is really nice to know when my battery is fully charged. I'm color blind, and I don't know if it's just me, but with the plug in chargers, the light always looks green. With this, the third light turns a bright, screaming green when the pcc is charged, and the first light is red when a battery is not charged, and the light turns off once the battery is fully charged. It's wonderful!

I made a very easy mod for the newer PCC with the manual batteries. I can't vouch for everyone, but my PCC does have the groove at 7 o clock. The manual batteries slide in nice but the problem I had was length. When I closed the case it didn't push the batteries down far enough in to charge. What I did was take a pool cue tip, trim it down to the needed length and gorilla glued it to the door where it meets the battery.
I haven't read of anyone else having this problem so maybe I just got a unit that was a touch off. However, if anyone does have this problem a cue tip works great. I shaved it down to about 1/4 inch (1.2cm).

yes mate, thats correct.
but really, you only need one battery if you have the PCC. every time you finish vaping, store it in the PCC and next time you use it you have a full battery again!
cheers,
scott
