Ignoring the disrespectful comments above, there are a group of us at my church that smoke "analogs" after service in the parking lot or the side lawn.
When I get my 901 (hopefully soon!!), I'll be replacing the analogs with the e-cig, but won't be using it in the church itself. I've made it through services without an analog, there's no need to "vape" in church.
From what I understand, there are some members of my church that aren't thrilled with the fact that I play drums (we have contemporary services with live music) during a worship service, I can't imagine what they would think/say about vaping. No need to irritate them since I don't need "the fix" anyway.

it's funny how things have changed. I can remember people smoking in the pews during service.
Since it is feeding an addiction, I would say that it would be disrespectful to your diety of choice to vape during services (unless your services include worship of the vapor god
)

Wow, I can't say that I remember that, but I do remember being able to smoke in the mall and certainly in bars and restaurants.

maybe it was because I went to a small country church? Or maybe it was a Baptist thing? *laf* Back then you could pretty much smoke anywhere - grocery stores, doctor's offices, you name it. Some areas in hospitals were non-smoking because of oxygen in use, but that's all i can think of offhand that was non-smoking. And when you had a guest in your home, you put out an ashtray just in case, as a courtesy to your guest, even if nobody in your home smoked.

Yup, the pendulum has swung from total acceptance and courtesy, past common ground, and into invasive regulation, taxation and restrictive laws.

Amen.
To add to this. I vaped in my church building itself but not in the worship hall during service.
