Just a general idea of how people vape in public places.
I start using it right away without asking anyone and if confronted, tell them to leave me alone.
I ask someone if it's ok to smoke my e-cigarette and if told no, get angry and leave.
I ask someone if it's ok to smoke my e-cigarette and if not, agree and offer more information.
I ask someone if it's ok to use my personal vaporizer and if not, agree and offer more information.
I ask someone if it's ok to use my personal vaporizer and it's ok, vape like a madman.
I ask someone if it's ok to use my personal vaporizer and it's ok, vape when I need to.
I do something completely different.
Just a general idea of how people vape in public places.
Well the first one is the closest to what I do but if anyone asks me to stop I explain it and if they persist I do, other than that I dont ask unless Im around a child (other than like walmart or where ever)
i vape whenever, and where ever i want; discreetly. i don't believe i've ever been noticed doing it.
i'm not very good at asking permission, and i also hate it, so i don't. i do as i please but i'm not obnoxious about it. if i was asked to stop i'd put it away without incident, but i'd explain what it was just for FYI purposes.

This poll FAILS.
There should have been an option below the first one that states...
Thanks for trying though.I start using it right away without asking anyone and if confronted, kindly explain to them exactly what an e-cig is.
Generally, I just vape where ever I please. If I'm confronted and after given the chance to explain it, if they still want me to stop, I usually do. At a bar or somesuch, I just won't go there again. So far, most places leave off after explaining to them the basics.
Hard to think of everything. Really I was hoping that the "Hey it's my right and I'm not doing anything wrong so buzz off" vapers might see this poll and tone it down a little.
Catch more flies with sugar than vinegar, oh so I hear.
But to each their own. I will try and do better next time.
The poll shows your bias extremely well. Obviously you take offense to people not asking permission prior to vaping. I don’t think this will dissuade people who think they are doing nothing wrong. Not asking permission is not equal to someone being rude or inappropriate.
I dont ask first because it requires finding the proper person to ask, giving an explanation and demonstration, and then hoping they wont immediately say, "no" when you are asking them, in their mind, to break the rules. Whereas if you simply use it without being super-obvious about it, they will usually leave you alone (from my experience), especially if you have one that has an led that's not orange or red. No muss, no fuss.
JUST DO IT!
