I'm with you on this one - I wouldn't generally vape [obviously anyway] somewhere I wouldn't have smoked in days-gone-by (before all the restrictions). I can't imagine ever smoking in a supermarket checkout line or a doctors/dentists waiting room even 20 years ago. Bars are okay, restaurants are a maybe, cinemas and theatres are a probable no even though I do remember when this was acceptable.

With regards to the amount of nicotine in the exhale, I don't think this is even worth considering; the quantities must be minute and then negligible when diluted (the exception here being extremely enclosed spaces such as cars and elevators). If we go to extremes, there is probably caffeine in breath exhale after drinking coffee (from the lining of our mouths/throats). Our atmosphere is not "pure", it's just that we can't see it most of the time.
