Bling in public
After my initial e-smoking with the super mini (orange tip) in a pub didn`t go to well, I threw caution to the wind and pulled out the bling.
The start of the day was a christening and just didn`t have the stones to puff in church , just considered it a bit too disrespectful but as we went on to the next port of call to wet the babies head my confidence grew!
We were drinking in our local social club, a fairly small and intimate bar but I whipped it out(the bling before anyone comments!) and started vaping. Inhaling fully at first, as the bling puts out almost no vapour on the exhale and no-one batted an eyelid , must of thought I was chewing on a marker pen of some sort.
As the beers flowed I got braver. To the point I sat at the bar vaping by holding the `smoke` in my mouth and inhaling through my nose as I find you can get a decent exhale with this method and blowing smoke rings at the same time.
Eyes immediately turned on me.....But the reaction was a pleasant one. Most of the drinkers showed interest , but many were informed to the point that I heard whispers of "oh he`s trying to give up the fags" to "it`s those artifical cigarettes".
I think in total out of the 50 people that were there, one person took offence and she was put in her place by the bar staff who explained nothing illegal was going on.
A good day for e-smoking as I was handing out web site addresses left right and centre, also to a drugs and alcohol counsellor who had ties with the NHS. He was amazed that I`d given up the `hot fags` with so much ease. Right or wrong all I know is that I`m breathing easy for the first time in years and now the Bling is my workhorse for now!
