My kitty likes it in General E-Smoking Discussion; I'm also pretty sure they are upset they don't get to go outside every 45 minutes.
Heh, mine definitely is ...

I use 100% VG since I didn't react well with the PG, and when I used to smoke analogs, as soon as I even grabbed a lighter, the cat would leave. But she doesn't seem to mind vapor at all. Like someone else said, even she knows it's better than analogs!

my cat would beg and beg and beg for me to let her outside with me when I used analogs. She doesn't seem to care about my e-cig when I use it inside... in fact I think she's more pissed about the fact that I don't go outside as much to smoke :-P
Sorry I'm still a noob here but what is PG and VG?

We have two cats, one manx and one calico. The manx has been with us longer and was subject to the second hand smoke that hung around our small 2 bedroom apartment. (we do have air filters that run regularly)
Last week, after hubby and I had been off cigs and vaping for a week, our manx had a more-than-usual bad attitude for a couple of days. We wondered if she was detoxing from the second hand smoke and was going through withdrawals? After two days of this behavior she returned to her 'normal' manx self.
Just wondered if anyone else's pets showed signs of withdrawal?

Sorry I'm still a noob here but what is
PG and
VG?
PG is Propylene Glycol and is the primary ingredient in most e-liquids.
VG is Vegetable Glycerin that is an alternate ingredient recommended for people who have an aversion to Propylene Glycol.
For most people, PG seems to give a greater "throat hit" and does a better job of transferring flavor. VG usually creates more vapor, but is not as effective transferring flavor and some have recommended against using it in high voltage PVs as there is potential for Glycerin to break down into other chemicals.
Many e-liquid makers are using a mixture of PG & VG to get the "best of both", but there are a few retailers selling VG-only juice. Also, many DIY (Do-it-yourself) vapers are purchasing pharmaceutical grade USP Vegetable Glycerin to mix their own e-liquid.

Many years ago my husband told me about being careful not to leave any anti-freeze around the garage as pets, particularly cats, were drawn to it and that it would make them sick - that was ethylene glycol. Then came out a new antifreeze, I assume PG, and he told me it was no longer an issue around pets. I think PG is the same antifreeze we use to winterize the drinking pipes in our motor home. If you google "cats antifreeze" you find ethylene glycol, but I didn't see any propylene glycol links.

I would imagine it's more likely to be somebody with an interest in ancient Egypt / Egyptology / Mythology

Well I vape just vg juice so i don't worry too much about our kitty. He is really funny the other night the hubby just had to go and buy a pack of reg cigs. He came in smoking and the cat just looks at him and with a disgusted look on his face and hisses at him and headed to the bedroom. The whole time he was smoking the cat wouldn't come near him. Now when I'm vaping the cat is laying right next to me purring away. LOL I think animals are way smarter about certain things.
