Frees, keep printing out those cards

while a Cigarette has a glowing red cherry an E-cig has a glowing red atomizer...can you possibly explain how its not just as dangerous Honestly i never went for the "NEVER SMOKE NEAR GAS PUMPS YOU'LL END THE WORLD THING" But i AM aware that their is danger involved, to totally dismiss possible dangers is fool hearted it would be a shame to pass those ignorant ideas onto someone else
Caution should ALWAYS be taken when using something like this around gas fumes

Well if I get blown up there will be no more vaping at gas pumps just like theres no smoking now so it is what it is. I don't see the danger in it and I'll still do it from time to time and I will keep printing out cards SLDS181

Next time he starts dumping gasoline on himself, he should surely be careful.
Until then, we're just going to see the "static electricity" repeats, and finally, the "its just like a cell phone which has caused fires!!!" (which they haven't).

Dropping a lit cigarette onto a puddle of gas just puts out the cigarette. Gasoline is actually difficult to ignite.
Freak accidents are always possible such as static sparks while touching your car.
I would think gas stations would be a good place to sell e-cigs. The owner may be upset about this of course.

It is conceivable, if not particularly likely, that an e-cig could start a fire at a gas pump. Since there's a battery powering a switch, an electrical spark is always possible. If it's hot out and the gas reaches the right evaporation state, boom. Better not to do it, why roll those dice?

It is concievable then, that watches, as they are powered by batteries, can make a gas station explode. As well as cars themselves. As well as the lights above the gas station. As well as the pumps themselves, as they run on electricity!
No. Pumps dont work like that. If there was a malfunction, an e-cig present is the least of your worries.
There is a distinct difference between static electricity running along the surface of a car and meeting gasoline vapor at the inlet of the tank, and being several feet away. We've been through this same subject so many times already.

All I know is I have no fear. You can always see me vaping while pumping gas. It's just what I do.

Vaping at a gas pump is totally irresponsible.
An e-cig atomizer heats well beyond the flash point of gasoline vapor. It's unlikely that an explosion would result, but not impossible, and strange things happen.
There are quite a few posts like this already, and very soon, some idiot is going to kill someone at a gas pump. You can laugh at me now, but bookmark this post for future reference.

Vaping in the gas station is kewl tho I choose to do it from inside the car

Inside the car is not as bad as standing at the pump. It takes what? No more than 5 minutes to pump a tank of gas? Someone can't wait 5 minutes to vape?
Simply amazing.
