E-Cigarettes in Public Have you used e-cigarettes in no-smoking areas? How did those around you react? Is it the perfect way around the smoking ban?

Cool My Response

I've been stopped a several times now while vaping in public. The best response I have found to use is goes something like this:

Offended person: ARE YOU SMOKING IN HERE?!?!?!

Calm me: "It's not a cigarette, it is a replacement, a fake one I am using to quit smoking." (takes cartomizer off) "see there is no tobacco and no fire, it's not real, it's just a vaporizer and it helped me quit smoking tobacco."

Response "Cool! Where can I get one for ______?" (me, my mother-in-law, my son, my Aunt Millie)

This seems to work much better than pretending to put my Vapor King out on my 11 year old's forehead. Gotta say, putting it out on my kid's forehead is fun, tho.

I sometimes go out with the analogue smokers at work and the looks I get when I put my PV after taking my last drag in my shirt pocket are priceless....

I sometimes keep my Leaford Lanyard tucked into my shirt. You should have seen my friend's face when I tucked my chin and took a drag from my bra!

I was vaping the other day when somebody asked If I was smoking. A nervous voice from over at the next gas pump . I just said "nope" and exhaled a cloud of vapor.

You're lucky it wasn't me. Vaping at the pump is totally irresponsible. Bad atomizer, battery arc, faulty switch? It's only a matter of time before some idiot will kill someone.
