How To: Stealth Vape...
We all know what it means, to "stealth vape" which is nothing more than hiding the activity of vaping so that no one knows or sees what you are really doing.
I think it would be a great idea for everyone to share their "stealth vaping" techniques so that we can all learn how to vape anytime, anywhere and no one else is the wiser.
Here is what I do:
I hold my 510 so that I hide the blue LED from view (palm in front of it). I slowly vape a comfortable amount into my mouth, release the button of my battery and continue to take in the residual vape left inside my e-cig. While breathing through my nose I hold it in my mouth for about 6-7 seconds or more. I then inhale into my lungs and hold it there for a just a few seconds, then before exhaling - I take a deeper breath of air to mix with the vape in my lungs then exhale and if I do it right, I see no vape whatsoever.
I've actually got it down pretty good!
So, how do you "stealth vape"???
I quit instantly with my first vape on 4 November 2009. Thank You ECF!

Well, fairly simply. With the LED covered, I inhale normally, hold vape in lungs for several seconds and exhale. Simple as that. I hold it in my lungs until no vapor escapes on exhale.
-
The best way for me to stealth vape is when I have long sleeves. Wearing a sweatshirt.
I use a 98mm and i put it down my sleeve as I take a drag and then hold it in for about 8-10 sec and slowly exhale. Usually very little if any vapor comes out.
I've done this a lot and no one has been the wiser. Even if some vapor comes out and someone sees it, they will not know where it came from since my PV is not showing at all.

In a open area: Cover the LED. Inhale and hold as long as possible. If you're sitting at a desk, exhale slowly downward in a direction it won't be obvious to see if it drifts upward.
If you're in your own cubicle or, even better, your own office, you'll have a lot more choices.

I've also heard of someone who opened a drawer, exhaled, and closed quickly.
Whatever works.

I palm the led of my 510 while taking a long draw and hold it in for about 5-6 seconds. The I take another short breath in through my nose and hold it for a couple seconds more. Then slowly exhale, making sure all the vapor has dissappated.
If anyone starts looking at me, I'll act like I'm just chewing on a pen. I never hold it like a cigarette.
I tried blowing it down the front of my shirt once while standing in line at the theatre box office, but it just flew back up in my face in a big cloud

The shirt thing doesn't work for me either. I tried.
Holding it in is much better and if anything is comming out just exhale slowly.
-
I just do what I did in high school when smoking. I just cover the LED and then casually blow the vapor down my shirt. It's great that now I don't smell like an ashtray
-
That's the ticket....blow it down into your shirt. I do it at times and it works well. I have my own office building, but at times you are in places where you're obliged (or smart) to be steathy. The less confrontation with these, the better. We need to seek good will....even from opponents. "The best way to deal with an enemy is to make them your friend". --Abraham Lincoln

Great tips, was wondering how people stealth vaped(just started vaping a few days ago). My work is dumb and banned e-cigs from inside the office. We have our own cubicles, but with 2 people on each side of me(work at a call center for HP). Sometimes if I get stuck on a long call I can't make it till my break, it was a lot easier smoking as it seemed like I didn't need a cig as often as the e-cig for some reason(I feel like I need to vape a few times a hour, opposed to once for 5 minutes every 2 hours with the regular cig).
