What Do You Tell People Is In The Vapor?

I say that it is a vapor similair to what you see coming out of a humidifier or room vaporizer and that it's made out of 100% foodgrade ingredients, other than the nicotine which is optional.

I tell them it's nicotine...mixed with crack ......., followed by me blowing a big hit in their face JK, I tell them "it's propylene glycol - the same thing found in inhalers and and fog machines that's been found to be non-carcinogenic and listed by the FDA as GRAS or Generally Regarded As Safe" to which they reply: "Big words make brain hurt" "fake fire stick bad!"

You are right on about the advantages of it NOT looking like a cigarette. I wonder when more people are going make that connection.

I think its important to say its harmless water vapor.
Don't talk about or compair it to smoking, because a lot of people don't like smoking.
Personally, I don't like smoking...it seems gross, kills, yellow teeth, ect.

I think its wise to work your way into explaining the process.
you can say its an e-cig without using those words as well.
I think its better that way.

people can judge quickly.

Seriously.....I also say something like :

"It's a vaporizer....some people use them to quit smoking cig's so they call them an e-cig. But I use mine for other reasons.....like phytotherapy which is inhaling the vapor of healthfull herbs.....and also because I cannot eat food so this is a way for me to enjoy many of the flavors that I miss. "


ps...before you ask....no I'm not on a "diet"....not that that isn't also a very valid use of this device....I have a serious medical condition and I literally cannot eat food other than one small meal a day. So my point is I agree that it is not lieing to downplay the cigarattes and present the personal vaporizer as something that also has other health benefits and is a safe (we hope) source of pleasure.

I usually show them the dif when blowing thru a paper towel. The cig side is yellow and yucky and the e-cig side is just damp and clear
