Nhaler Super Menthol compared to....??? - E-Cigarette Forum

I just got some Nhaler High Voltage Super Menthol, and...frankly, I think they mislabeled this bottle! There is nothing super about the menthol quality of the juice. In fact, I'm trying to figure out if I am tasting any menthol at all or what is just left on my atomizer from the Nuport crap juice I had to resort to after my regular supply ran out.

I was using Rocky Mountains Menthol in 18mg, and man it was STRONG. I mean, almost annoyingly Altoids strong. But Rocky Mountain was showing no stock so and I heard good things about the HV stuff from Nhaler.

But this Nhaler Super Menthol is weak, if not non existant. It tastes extremely sweet, but no real menthol flavor to me. I really think they mislabeled the bottle.

Before I write them I figured I'd see if anyone else had experience with it and other menthols?

No experience with that one yet, but Puresmoker Menthol is really good!!

I was doing a google search for "Nhaler super menthol + weak" and this was the first returned result. I am in complete agreement. I had heard such good things about Nhaler liquids. So I ordered three 30 ml bottles of liquid, 1 Licorice, 1 Grape Ape, and 1 Super Menthol. After reading Drew from Nhaler post this was the end all be all of Menthol e-liquid, I was excited. So after receiving my order, Super Menthol was the first one I tried.

I could not have been more disappointed.

First, as has been already stated, it tastes too sweet. Secondly, even though you can taste a bit of menthol, it tastes more like mint. If I wanted a mint flavour, I would have ordered mint. I ordered Super Menthol, but this is anything but.

Thirdly, and this seems to be a problem with all three flavours I ordered, I don't get a strong throat hit at all. Some other ppl may say it is "smooth", but I say it is "weak". I'm spending way too much time holding down the manual button just to get 1/10th of the hit I get from the Apple 26mg from E-smokey treats.

Finally, I got high-voltage for the Super Menthol because I am vaping with a Silver Bullet mod w/ 510 atomizer. But I am getting significantly less vapour than I get from usual Chinese-made e-liquids. Again, I'm spending way too much time holding the manual button down just to get a decent puff, whereas the Chinese-made e-liquids produce plumes of vapour.

I am very very disappointed. And I have learned my lesson, just because people rave about something here does not always mean it is the bees-knees.

Ok, I need to ask. What kind of PVs are you using and on what attys?
I just ordered a sample size and holy 5h!t mine was strong! Took all day to get rid of the taste in my atty.
Too strong as a matter of fact. I’m using a HV mod, 510 atty, and the HV juice if that helps at all.

I've only tried the JC Arctic Menthol and the SuperMenthol from Nhaler. I'd say the Nhaler is way stronger - menthol wise. I certainly wouldn't say weak. Maybe the batches were different? Or maybe the other brand you had was just much stronger. If so I'd like to try!

@Nole1028: I am using a Silverbullet MOD with 3.7 volt battery and a 510 atomizer. Both of these work perfectly when vaping with E-smokey treats Apple 26mg, but not well at all with Nhaler, high voltage or not (Licorice is not HV), so I know its not my PV. I am going to try a brand new atty tonight and if that doesn't help, then I'm shelving these e-liquids.

None of this changes the fact Super-menthol is more mint than menthol, and yes I've tried JC Arctic Menthol but atleast they state its a mint/menthol in the ad.

@sms: well a friend of mine let me try eliquidplanet menthol the other day and it was really strong and flavorful. best of all, it didn't taste like mint candy, it tasted like a menthol. suffice to say, after being so disappointed with Nhaler's SuperMenthol, I put in an order for 3 10ml bottles of menthol from eliquidplanet, it should be here tomorrow. It definitely kicks dirt on Supermenthol.

Sounds like maybe there was a mishap with your bottle. I've had both the JC Artic Menthol and HV Super Menthol, and they were worlds apart. The SM I have is like vaping a Vick's Inhaler. It sound weird, but it's good. In fact, because it was so strong, it's not been an every day vape for me.
As far as it having a sweet taste, I imagine that the HV has a higher VG content that normal juice and that might explain why it seems sweeter.

I will try a new atomizer today and if I'm still having this problem with vapour production and throat hit, I will contact Drew @ Nhaler.

Super Menthol is pretty crazy usually. It's definitely a mint flavor (get 555 menthol from Drew if you want a menthol cigarette taste), but it's super strong and very good.

I really don't get much throat hit from any HV juices, but the vapor is ridiculous. I'll generally mix the HV with 60mg unflavored to get a little more throat hit. They don't lose much flavor (if any...), but the throat hit increases substantially.
