Yes, this really works, it will sometimes even restore dead attys.I hope it gets rid of the burn taste for bluesuede. Good luck and let us know.
I think they're dry now so gonna go try one.

Aha... so that's the reason for removing the wick! I looked inside all of them with a halogen flashlight (very bright) and a magnifying glass and couldn't see any burnt stuff anywhere and there was hardly any debris in the water. I soaked them in hot water with a denture cleaning tablet and then a hot rinse...
Heck my 510's are not that old! I still have all my 801 from last year. Hadn't lost an atty until the 510... 2 at last count.
P.S. The water did get a little cloudy and dirty though but no bits and pieces of black stuff. I'm hoping that was the old juice that disolved..

well done Blu
yes, must be old juice,
someone said they took out an old atty and it tasted like
poooooooooooooooooooooooo
so maybe the juice goes sour after a while maybe ????
but yes it does build up on the coil,
thats why we clean em -
glad your taste is better now -
* Lost an atty though. RIP*
