got through customs yesterday

I have an order sitting in customs for three days now. I'll post an update, when/if it arrives.

Three orders from China; two through New York customs and one through LA customs. All were through customs within 24 hours or less. Who knows if that will be the same 30-60 days from now.

I just received my order yesterday, great service. I see your in the Chicago area shimmy, thats funny cause when I went to pick up my package at the post office the clerk asked me what it was cause they had just handed out the same package from chia the day before to someone else might have been yourself in your in the northern burbs. I said it was a usb charger or something like that that was on sale lol. Anyhow that was my 1st order w/ this company and certainly won't be my last..Great job eastmall!!!

Where in Texas are you? Mine was dispatched the 22nd but since the tracking info is not updating I don't have a clue where it is.

I need to run some errands but don't want to miss the post person.

I'm still a newbie, but I've placed my second order from David. The first order was on 9 May, and arrived (Pacific NW) on 15 May, super fast! There was tracking info all the way.

My second order was on 23 May and was dispatched on 24 May. I realise there are tracking issues due to the move and a new shipper. No tracking info showed up until this morning (30 May) and the USPS tracking info says:

Class: Express Mail International®
Status: Foreign Acceptance

Your item was accepted on May 30, 2009 at 8:31 PM. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later.

The EMS info says it was dispatched from the sorting center on 31 May.

What does this mean? It is now 5:45pm (30 May) my time. Is it in the US? At Customs? What does "Status: Foreign Acceptance" mean on the USPS site?

Thanks for any help! (Just worried about the whole Customs issue......)

Oh, forgot to add that the USPS site has had the same statement all day with no change. I know it says info is updated in the "evening" but I'm not sure what that means since the "8:31pm" was quoted in the a.m.

mine is reading almost identical but just updated ...............it is a.m. of 31st in china right now...............foreign acceptance means it's cleared to leave china
next it will go to foreign international dispatch
then arrive at customs

I was wondering why it's still in China (after a week) then remembered about the Chinese holiday. No need to worry about delays due to holidays---but will still be biting my nails worrying about US Customs. I just don't trust those guys.......
