Picked the order up at the post office the next day... thats ONE WEEK from order placement! Don't expect all orders to arrive this quick, but it shows you what is possible.

Had a slight problem with my order, contacted support, Ed got back to me within a couple hours and initiated resolution of my problem the next day!

So... CHEAP pricing, FAST shipment, EXCELLENT customer support (especially with Ed there now...). How can USA suppliers compete with this?

I use Eastmall occasionally as well... but I can tell you how others can compete. Eastmall has a $50 minimum order. Sometimes I need things and don't want to spend that much... so I go elsewhere.

But that would cost $65 with shipping for 100 mls, no? I am right? I can buy 100 mls with free shipping right now from the USA for $45 at electronic-ash with his 25% off and free shipping over $40. So that's a $20 savings ordering direct within the USA.

shipping prices and 2nd day delivery are also a plus...............I don't knock any suppliers but some are $10 more on kit's but $8 less on shipping........plus they take all the customs risks

Well, yeah... very small orders are not really appropriate for EastMall, but most USA suppliers seem to have $5+ shipping for small orders, so small orders aren't generally practical to begin with, IMO.

I have placed several orders with eastmall over these last two months and I would say 7 days is really typical.

You know, there is a lot to be said for David and Ed.
    Orders are processed quickly
    Problems are handled efficiently
They give you credits toward future orders
Their products are priced lower and have the same if not better quality than other suppliers
They have specials and sales at times

So the topic of this thread is definitely food for thought!

Ah.... but sometimes I have orders that come to around $30. It's more practical for me to pay $35, than to come up with a $50 minimum order, then tack another $15 on for shipping.

Don't get me wrong... I love Eastmall. David won me over during a conversation I had with him one time on Skype. It's just not always the right place for me... and that's where other suppliers come in. I was simply answering your question as to how others can compete. Not taking anything away from them.
