I use an adapter with a nicostick, mini pipe and a VP1 (same as the vapre51). The Nicostick needs an a long adapter as the connecter is resessed into the body of the Nico..it would be the same with a stick.
The connecter will depend on the size of the atty your mod device uses..one that takes an 801..such as the mini pipe, needs a 801 to 901 adapter. A device that takes a 901 atty like a 901 battery, needs the 901 to cartomizer adapter.
If your mod is a 5 or 6 volt, you may want to rethink. Cartomizers aren't made for that kind of power.

I haven't seen 901 to cartomizer anywhere. I thought they had the same connector. Do you know a source for them?

They do have the same connector..but no holes for the air! The 901 atty has a hole, the KR808d-1 battery has special threads that allow air. But when you attach a 901 batt directly to a cartomizer..your face will fall in trying to get some vapor..hence the adaptor! It look just like the adaptor that allows you to charge a manual battery on an auto charger..in fact it is, but with the addition of a hole for air flow.
I found mine at Vapor Country. This adapter will allow you to get in on the cartomizer deals from Eastmall! I am sure Eastmall will come up with an adapter for the Stick once they begin to offer it.
