I hope the makers of these things are listening! The suggestions are wonderful! I was looking at the juice box mod by Carlos I think. A juice feed built right in the nicostick type mod. When he feels better I might have to beg, bribe and blackmail him for one. The choices in P.V.'s are nearly limitless.
I just want one that works, wicks well and that I don't have to carry a suitcase full of stuff to keep it going for a few hours!

If you take a look at the "spring mod" or the "Straw and plug" mod that is the current rage... you'll see a cartridge configuration that honestly works exceptionally well. You can literally completely drain a cart over and over. Now... if some enterprising manufacturer takes that concept... and makes it into a molded piece with a flip-top... now you've got the cat's-butt cartridge. Easy to refill and last and last and lasts. Dern near cartomizer-easy. Step 1.

Now.. add that to an atty that has consistent performance. I know that a 510 atty can be really good. But out of the box it can be really bad too. The quality control and unit-to-unit consistency just isn't there. Tweak the QC on the atty. Step 2.

What's left is battery life. And frankly, if you want a low resistance atty that puts out tons of warm vapor.. then you are going to put quite a strain on battery life. And energy densities on battery technology just aren't quite there yet. But it will continue to get better... just look at the trend over the last 5 years. Sooo... in the mean-time... get away from screw-on batteries and just make them push-on, or use a bayonet lock. Threads are silly. Then put charging points in the LED end so a person can rest the PV on his desk (or in his car) in a holder that recharges the unit while it is sitting there (in-between vapes). And then tweak the charge current in the PCC's and wall chargers so that the batteries recharge just a bit faster... ensuring that when the one in your PV dies, the next one is ready. Step 3.

That'll do it for now!

P.S. My Step 1 and Step 2 could easily be replaced by a quality cartomizer that was easy to refill, produced 510-class or better vapor (along with its throat hit and taste), and didn't ever, ever, ever burn or melt its internals.

Well said !

A manufactured cart with a kind of ADM mod would be a winner. Flip-top is a nice idea.

I would pay more for a really high quality atomizer.

For me the PCC the charging speed is no concern but I would like a bigger one where I can store a complete 510 and 2 x 3ml bottles. It is a shame that the 510 PCC misses just a quarter inch high to be able to hold a complete 510. Add 1/2" in width and you can store those 2 x 3 ml bottles.

Mine would be the DPV9, but easier to refill (I know they aren't designed for it, but throwing out working atomizers seems like such a waste).
And it needs a longer lasting battery. And available in different colors apart from black and silver.
And the cartomizers should not be Green.
And I want different colored LEDs.

I am wit the juice-on-demand crowd here.

Something with the battery life of the KR808 (at minimum). But with a juice "chamber" that wicks constantly and perfectly from an all-day fill. Of several mil. Perhaps on the principle of the e-Dobit. Keeping the atomizer perfected wet with every draw but never flooded and never dry.

I want NHaler juice in my vaping experience, though I love the KR808 and cartomizers. So I vape them dry and start refilling. Though I recognize the limitations of refilling and wish there was a better way. The 510 really does get more vapor action but man is it a lot more maintenance.
